This app is probably the MOST INNOVATIVE one so far in App Store! It's ** A Countdown App Make-believe, A Library of Hotties in Disguise! ** If you wanna get some hottie pics but wish to be protected from the "prying eyes" or maybe have kids around playing your iPhone, then you should think about getting this one.^^ THis is what everybody sees ON THE SURFACE. until you try the SECRET BUTTON... and something really secret reveals... icon idea IDEAS 1. a countdown lock, not sure how you would get an image... 2. one half of a stopwatch with another half being a cool or mysterious clock 3. have a picture of a lock with a hazy effect over it 4. have a stopwatch with a lock attached to it 5. have those two arrows in your original drawing clash together, or go in one way, (they dissolve into each other in the middle.) hope it helps!
Ideas: 1. Have a book icon that looks like a binder showing My Homework...homework is too boring to be interesting to other people. 2. Have a teeth icon showing my dentist appointments...also very boring to view. 3. Have a CD burner icon so when anyone taps on it..it will show a blue screen of death but only the owner knows the secret button to make the blue screen gone and reveal the secret pics...His friends will be freaked out when they see the error of the blue screen of death and return the iPhone.
Akame and Alfred have better suggestions, but I think for the icon you could have a girl leaning against a clock or an hour glass. It may not be that creative, but it's an idea.
MARVELLOUS ideas,guys! But still not so sure about it. You see, it's the icon showing ON APP STORE that I wanted to re-creat and make it a little bit more eye catchy. But the one showing on ur iPhone will remain a "typical countdown clock" look. What about it? And oh, the "girl leaning on a sand glass" idea is COOL!
Very clever, and well played Mr. Goodcode. First thing that came to mind was you almost have a G surrounding a C in the 'plain' image. But for the app store - you could do a brown paper bag with some magazines poking out the top, or a hollowed-out book with some inside. If you wanted to play on the original icon, you could have a closeup of a woman's face, with her hands held up as if peering out at you, eye in the center, hands held up similarly to the icon... Another idea: neon. Nothing says sexy like neon signs. Apparently pasties are OK in the app store now - why not put a breast in the middle of those curves? And a real must for this app - basic web browser engine so you can grab more images for this thing.
Yeah,I was also thinking about putting breasts or girls with a sexy look.. at least it says more about the app itself that way.
or you could have a disguised image, so to speak... maybe a girl dressed up as a nurse, or something boring... or you could have like a bright cloak, or some disguising item.... or you might want to put something like bras, or something subtle, but flashy.... or a fire with the word HOT, its kinda hard to say that this application involves girls, but not showing something too obvious, but that's just my opinion. or you could have half of the picture as a clock and the other half as breasts.
I feel no point having a sexy woman as an icon as that will invite more prying eyes.. maybe a sexy eyes together on the book itself.
HAHA! I'll only change the icon for APP STORE,but the one on your iPhone screen wil be a "safe" one - a normal countdown app look.
Just make the App Store icon half of a clock and then a crack down the middle with the other half being a sexy chick, done deal.
