Agreed. It makes sense that it would start in a country like China, because of the huge population. So, what are your zombie plans, TA? For me, I live really close to the border to Canada. Since there are a lot of cold and practically empty areas there, that is where I will go. It won't be too hard to get in, because many people will have the same thoughts. Except, they will be trying to get in through the major roads. I'll be sneaking in through the woods. All of the people that may be guarding the borders will be stationed there.
Well I have 2 "Bug out Bags" packed and ready for the apocalypse, with all the necessarily survival gear. I guess first round of action would be to aquire a bus or RV and make for the hills of Colorado...
Not-so-fun-fact: During WWII, when the Japanese had invaded China, they experimented with bioweapons, including but not limited to bubonic plague, typhoid, etc. on Chinese citizens. IIRC, there is a province in China where the government has actually sealed off an underground laboratory where such experiments were conducted. This province actually has periodic breakouts of several maladies, the very same ones with which the Japanese experimented. So, y'know...if you've ever seen the video for "All Nightmare Long" by Metallica...it could happen. In fact, if you replace the Soviets with the WWII era Imperial Japanese, and "spore" with "bioweapons" it'd be closer to actual reality. Hell, the part in the video that dealt with unleashing "spore" via balloons, etc. over major US cities) was actually something the Japanese forces were planning.
So this will be like Resident Evil or what? Cuase I hear the words "Zombie" and "invasion"....I'm just confused.
I plan to do the same thing as you, but, eventually zombies will come to Canada's northern provinces. I also plan to bring a machine gun, two pistols, food, water, a shotgun, and lots of ammunition. That's why sneaking is good, you would never get over with such weapons unless you are not seen.

I've been watching this recently. Gun training, stock supplying, and above all, finding out how long i have and what type of zombies i'm dealing with. I got it covered, and i'm reading up on WWZ and the survival guide again A shotgun, a steel crowbar, and a handgun.
And it was of course in WWZ where the infection began in a similar manner. Small village in rural China I believe. Government tried to contain it and cover it up with press about an illness. Remember... Zombies freeze. So head north.
Shit, I'ma set up shop right in the midst of a sprawling abandoned city, where I'll just build a fortress and wait. Can't kill zombies if your too busy running away
If all else fails, remember: Zombies prefer healthy brains. So I intend to both drink and toke up in absolutely obscene amounts in preparation for the inevitable zombie invasion
