Ah, Trials HD. Reminds me of Elastomania when I was young :). Good times.

Yeah Joe Danger looks good, IGN gave Joe Danger a 9.5/10 and Trials HD a 8.3/10. Is Joe Danger that much better? What's better about it if anything?

Any other recommendations from the store? I'm about to check youtube to see what Shatter is all about.

Depends really mate. I personally like Joe Danger more, I believe it's hailed as the game Nintendo should have made.

Shatter is this classy, stunning, addictive brick breaker game with phat beats to boot.

Flower is worth checking out also, along with PixelJunk Eden (hardest to 100% game ever, but I did it).

No Gundemonium love? This awesome indie Japanese shooter collection actually got me using the PS3 again after not turning it on for 4 months after finishing Demon's Souls.

    There is a demo ;)

In my opinion Fat Princess and R&C: Quest for Booty are the best PSN games :D then comes Joe Danger and others.

Ehh, inFamous is repetitive, but I for some reason am loving it, I don't know why!

Played the Demo last night. It's actually pretty fun. A nice RPG Style Hack n Slash with some Diablo-Esque roots. The humor on the other hand is silly and cute. Voice Acting is fun, and all the choices you make are voiced over which I thought was cool. It's a fun game, I just may purchase it when I get the extra cash.

cool, I just checked the demo section and downloaded a few demos for the games I was asking about, most of the demos were just released within the past couple days. Planet Minigolf just released a demo today I think.

No chance. Trials HD is way ahead of Joe Danger so it just goes to show the scores don't always add up. Trials has longer levels, more variety, a far more in-depth level editor, about a dozen different mini games, bike/rider customization and perhaps most importantly, a far more enjoyable difficulty curve. Joe Danger is something a kid could enjoy on a Wii, but if you're even slightly into trials as a sport then Trials HD is as good as it gets right now.

I wasn't too impressed by the Deathspank demo either. There's nothing technically wrong with it, it's just kinda... default. Default hacking and slashing with generic fetch quests and that typical almost-funny humour you see in point n' click games. If that's what you're looking for and aren't expecting to be amazed then you should be happy with it.

yeah Deathspank is just a mild consideration. Its the other ones I'm most interested in.

So Midian, does Trine have a generic feel to it? What I mean is is the puzzle platforming witty/clever or is it so easy that a 5-year old can breeze right through? Also, is there anything awe-inspiring about the game at all?

Yeah I mean it brings absolutely nothing new to the table at all in the least bit, but I enjoy those kinds of games (fight style wise) for some reason i can never get enough of them.

It's kind of clever in that there are multiple ways to get through the levels. You can switch between the three characters at any time so there might be a section where you use the wizard to create steps out of crates... if he dies you can use the thief and swing over the obstruction using some wooden beams.

It does get a little tricky though, I wouldn't expect a young child to reach the end. I've died a few times myself but then I have a tendency to try and rush things and end up making stupid mistakes.

Well I wasn't really interested in Deathspank till I found out it was going to have a PC release, which was only recently. Excuse my ignorance on this, but what is Deathspank like? It looks kinda like a Diablo clone, but I've already got my Titan Quest/Torchlight for that.

That's pretty much it is, is a diablo/dungeon siege clone. Wrapped in more goofy humour.

I liked Trine I havn't beaten it yet, but there are some part's that I won't lie, I had to use YouTube to figure out how to get passed lol.

I looked it up and read that Deathspank was apparently cancelled for the PC. A diablo clone, cancelled for the system it was made for? wat?

Yes, in the first couple minutes.
But, I may play it through just for important story elements...

OR... you could save me from playing it and just summarize the whole games plot in one post for me.

So why don't you just f***ing google it if you're acknowledging that's the simplest way to get the info you want.
