I only mainly plain rts and mmorpgs now. C&C AOE WC3 SC2 beta. As for mmorpgs Maplestory , Ragnarok , WOW
It's a kid game. 2nd biggest mmorpg in the world according to guiness world record gamer's edition. It's at like 110million people behind WOW. The first 2d side-scrolling mmorpg , it's free to play and it's really addicting. Try it out.
I'm still rolling with the PC baybay! Got a Dell Studio Laptop. Go ahead, try to knock me down Apple fanboys! Do it, I dare ya!! But really, I shredded MW2 on my laptop for a while. But unless you have a super computer, its really hard to run that game like it should. I had the graphics all the way down and it still lagged :/ So I've moved onto Counter Strike: Source. Its a suprisingly good game with a decent community.
Really? I thought that game ran pretty smoothly on most computers, maybe it's your internet connection that lagged you if you were playing multiplayer. Oh and I'm a PC gamer too, I usually pick PC games(especially shooters) over 360 games unless the game is only on the 360.
Well initially it ran pretty good. But after a while, as my computer got filled with more junk it started to slow.
http://game-booster.en.softonic.com/ Believe me, it works. E: And MW2 is not a demanding game. E2: PC gaming pwns console gaming. Why? First of all, PC games are cheaper (Steam sales are very cheap). Second, a good gaming rig runs everything at max settings at high resolution and with a nice framerate. Nice to see that your PC is capable of all those games. Third, a console (well, in my case an xbox 360) is so ****ing noisy, it's getting annoying. Plus, how could a $250 machine possibly be any good? A decent processor already costs $250. I think my PC is about 10 times better than an Xbox 360, and I'm pretty sure my 11,6" laptop is also faster, better, and more silent. E3 : That's the only argument console gamers can give . All you need to get a gaming rig is a job.
Thanks for that link synther! And I completely agree with you on the cost of PC games. Last night, I got Defcon, Darwinia, Multiwinia, and Uplink for $5! Each normally costs $10! On top of that, some of the most popular and expensive games have been on sale for 75% off. You dont find deals like that on the console.
I'll list some (not all) of my awesome money saving deals! E=Euro, 1 euro is $1,24 Operation Flashpoint: E4,20 Mass Effect: E3,74 Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box: E3,74 Portal: Free Codemasters Racing Pack including: - Dirt 2 - Dirt - Grid - Fuel - ToCA Racedriver 3 for just E16,00. Bought far more games for a low price (metro 2033, Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2, Mass effect 2) but these are absolutely the lowest, especially the Codemasters racing pack.
