Just finished a couple of levels. So far I'd say this game has gone up from a 2/5 to a 4.5/5 for me with control option c. Awesome, game is finally fixed, I'll post a review on iTunes.

You can believe it. Take an expectant parent and then multiply that waiting 100 fold!

Control update made this game awesome for me love it, thanks for fixing it! Left a 5 star review, because we all know how reviews are on the appstore, if it isn't 5 stars it might as well be 1 star because of all the tards who leave 1 star reviews.

Glad the update is out, time to dig in and enjoy the purchase.

  9. Yeah, at least labor only takes a couple of hours. Apple on the otherhand can take 10 long days... ;)

I really tried to get on with the original controls and follow your advice but just ended up with a sore thumb. My initial feedback is that the fixed control options suit me a lot better but still aren't perfect. It's a little too easy to slide off the d-pad and stop dead, particularly with the fixed analogue. I feel that you could do with enlarging the area around the d-pad that makes Joe move. For the fixed analogue, I'd make the extra area all max speed - for slow movement, it works really well already. (Hope that makes sense.)

This is much more minor than the issues I had beforehand though - consider it a suggestion rather than a complaint! I think you've done an awesome job to get the new control options out so quickly and they really do improve the game substantially for me.

Thank you for the suggestions, in the mean time you can try enlarging or positioning the dpad which would give the same effect if you do not look at the dpad graphic :)

    Excellent update!

Question: I'm noticing some odd flickering between the view transitions in the new update - before it was very smooth.

This may just be a little glitch while it signs into game center on the menu :)

Controls are good, but as a suggestion, I think maybe it should still allow a registered tap close to around the fixed dpad, that way for example if you tap just a little bit out of the right dpad it would still make the character go right. I'm controlling it WAY better with the fixed dpad, there was just a couple of times I went out of the dpad a little and messed up. It would give a little better movement and avoid missed taps

Can't wait to try the iCade controls

Sweeeet! Works great! The fun factor just went through the roof now that controls aren't something you need to think about.

    Thanks devs! :)
