It's here! Also here in case you missed the first one. Fill your boots. I have other music, of course. Do you care? No! You're only here for one thing; this trumped-up arrangement of bleeps! Booyah! http://th1swasatriumph.bandcamp.com/album/the-other-brothers-ost There it is again! The price will increase in a fair short time, so . . . make your move, if you've a mind. Thank you all
I like the humour in the game, and the dev is humourous too. For a buck and icade support, it makes me smile.
You can always vote us as game of week but only if you feel its worthwhile. It's upsetting my end because I really want Apple to release the next update with controls and so on. The team has some pretty hot ideas for Episode 2 and a lot of the ideas come directly from this thread...
I think that'll happen naturally when the update finally comes out. On a side note, I gave the game a little time today. I'm still not liking the floating dpad but I was able to cope with it by making small moves rather than bigger moves like every other ios platformer allows (Mikey Shorts for example). I can't wait for that update to fix things. The way it is now has it acting like a smaller tip of the thumb movement is a desire to reposition when it should never reposition when your thumb hasn't even left the screen.
That's the part I like. My thumb tends to settle into whichever position is most comfortable as I'm touching the screen, and the d-pad will follow it so I don't have to pay it any attention and it'll be exactly where I expect it to be. Probably more useful on iPad as the screen is bigger anyway.
Yeah it could be a better fit for iPad. On iPhone I don't want to do more than tilt my thumb when it comes to virtual sticks/pads because real estate is at a premium rather than an excess so any unexpected repositioning is a bad thing.
You should check out Physynth. I'll give a few codes out here. It's iPad only and incredibly experimental. The whole user interface is designed to be tactile so it's the dpad on steroids. This wasn't really a commercial venture, but one of Simian Squared's mad experiments. Here's some codes to keep visitors amused while waiting for the dpad update: NOTE THESE ARE FOR PHYSYNTH to demonstrate other unusual ui/user interface things. Not for TOB - reviewers bit our hands off for those so we don't have any FMHXEMAA4ETP RME6HNEFAYYL KNPK6TRJXKX3 NKRKW6W4KP6P KM9JXPALTYYA AKEXLPAXFP77 43YNLYPLRM4K AETAYKNXJ7RY
I'm having a crazy hard time on the train/subway level. I just can not beat it! Especially the part where in the gap there is a toolbox and big guy with two or three other regular enemies, it's damn near impossible to kill all three in the short amount of time you are able to freeley jump before the train passes by again and instant death.
Big cop has a perfect weak spot just at the back of his head where he won't block but you need to have mad angry birds skills in order to jump and influence the arc of the wrench to hit the back of his head as he is facing although there are a number of easier ways to do this bit... perhaps someone can leave some tips!
I think next time we have promo codes out in the wild, we'll drip feed them so they don't get snatched up in a second
Its also useful to offer promo codes by PM so you know who gets them and then can ask them for their opinions. Too many promo codes seem to disappear and many dont bother leaving their views (thats the whole idea of promo codes)
