I completly agree with this because after a while the game gets very boring fast and i did play with the little paper clip for over 30 mins.
I'm constantly amazed that people still get a kick out of Angry birds. The levels start becoming generic reskins after a while....
That's what happens when there are so many levels, everything's already been done before. There are no completely identical levels, though.
That would make sense if the levels weren't actually all different layouts. Perhaps they feel similar to you, but even taking that into account it's head and shoulders above what PG offers in terms of actually being a game you can play.
So the various mini-games don't count? Maybe individually they aren't as fleshed out as Doodle Jump or Canabalt but they are very similar to other "real games" and growing in number.
None of PG's minigames are as fun or addictive as the games they're based on. In my opinion, those kind of killed the app.
Daily update 2 -Rayman (Wish I could control my impulse buying, but I guess I've always been a big fan of Gameloft. Grabbed this for the original $6.99 and finally got to trying it out today. The graphics are a pain. The camera is a pain. It's just not fun..didn't play past the tutorial level.) -Lane Splitter (Not sure what the big deal behind this free game is. How can you release a survival game without any kind of global leaderboards? The graphics and mechanics are pretty nice, but it just doesn't hit the spot like side-scrolling survival games..monster dash, canabalt, etc. Not worth the free download.) -Crazy John (Sorry, but I have to mention another free game that's not worth the time. Lol I can't comprehend how this game is even half decent in comparison to the titles it is bluntly copying like Triniti usually does. Minigore and Guerilla Bob blow this ripoff away by far. Doesn't Minigore go free every month anyways?) -Carnivores: Ice Age (Bought it while it was pretty high up the charts a while ago. Turns out hunting games just aren't my thing. Deleted the original one as well after trying this one out for 5 minutes.) -Dead Space (Kept it since I beat it in January thinking I'd replay it once just for the heck of it. Thought I'd rather have the near 500 MB free space instead and spare myself a few hours of a repeat. Horror games just don't have that appeal anymore after the first time around for me.) Chucked out a few other paid games as well, but I think these are the 5 most popular ones from today. Lol definitely not downloading anymore free games. What am I actually enjoying now? Sadly, not much. I have a hard time starting the games I know I'll enjoy for some reason lol...mostly because I'm trying to clear games off my iPod at a faster rate than I buy them for now. Almost below 200 games on my iPod now and finally have all my unplayed games synced :]. Getting there. So yeah, for now I'm just playing multiplayer games that don't end with some friends: Words with Friends, Carcasonne, Nova 2, Dinosmash, etc. Looking through my RPG and Adventure folders right now trying to figure out what single player game I should dedicate some time to enjoying next. I really want to say Aralon or Mission Europa, but I'm scared I'll be throwing way to many hours into the game if I start haha. I think I'll go for Dungeon Hunter 2. I remember I was so excited for it in December, but I haven't even launched it. Time to clear a few hundred MB :]..</3 Gameloft's file sizes lol. Be back tomorrow. Btw, Chris Brown is back with his comeback album: F.A.M.E. He's definitely still the man. Go to work son.
1.Rainbow Six ( the worst game ever from gameloft that I bought, wasted $7 but it's cool 2.Fight night (the controls were giving me headache, Tilt to walk, not a great idea. Gameplay, graphics were awesome though And last but not least, angry birds. I generally don't do those kind of games.
I actually like R6, having a good time with it. @backtothis im on the same boat haha. Too many games I haven't tried and I'm scared of booting up big ones in case I spend too much time on them. Plus Rayman sucked. I tried it about a week ago after it sat on my ipod for like 2-3 months. Played and deleted in the same car ride.
Lane Splitter most definitely has global leaderboards! You can also see your Facebook friends' scores. Just click scores from the main menu. If you had any trouble with the leaderboards (connection errors, etc) then please let me know so I can address the issue. Thanks, Sam McGrath www.fractiv.com
