The Inferno promo code giveaway celebration!

I just thought that was common courtesy to write a review when you get a free code. I admit I'm new to the forum, but even I know that people should do that.

On a side note, keep up the good work. I'm sure with all the piracy rolling around these days it's tough to be a developer.

 

There are enough people who are unregistered and only care about grabbing a free game quickly. They don't care about our community. Some of the codes just disappear and are wasted, with almost no benefit for the (generous) developer. Codes given from Apple to the devs are limited, and if this continues, someday the devs will only send promo codes to the most trustworthy writers or admins from review sites. That would be truly sad.

I am currently doing two reviews for a german page and the german appstore. It is kind of a duty, but a loved one.

 

That said, there are a bunch of registered users who only ever post in the promo forums, and I can't say I've ever seen them give feedback... maybe they do App Store reviews but somehow I don't think so.

Agreed.
But there is also a bunch of guys from TA who care and review the games from the given promo codes.
But it should be natural to write a (even if it is only a short) review when you get a code.
