It's one thing to put someone on blast/ have an opinion about a purchased game and or app that fails to deliver, it's another to be coy (passive aggresive since you didn't fully devulge about your issues on your first post/gripe) with an app that hasn't come out yet, and more importantly, it's free.

I understood your point this morning, and my point is no sh**. Your the only that feels frauded by the service freeappaday provides.

    Hi,

Natron, this phrase is from post #10 and from ICS Mobile:
My whole point, and posted very clearly is, they do not give the apps free, the developers do.

My first post was about if there was anything this app would provide me that I could not get over on appshopper, I got no reply from ICS Mobile.

They did give kind of a snide reply to a post by ImNoSuperMan which included the above quoted phrase, which, again, is not accurate.

Helping developers is great, making money off of it, great, using inaccurate statements to serve that purpose, not so great.

Maybe not a big deal to you, as a father of a young son, this is a big deal to me.

I would like to think I am not the only one who feels that someone, in the position that ICS Mobile is in, should post accurate information.

It would sadden me if I was the only one who felt this way.

    David

Well I see it as you looking into it to much. Most people realize that the devs give the game away but faad helps them do it.

Also they have said that the app provides free text messaging and wish list which appshopper doesn't do. Appshopper only notify's you when a game you want drops in price where as faad asks for what you would like to go free.

    Hi,

These are features that I, personally would not use and I just peruse over at appshopper, not a registered member there.

As for this part of your post:
Unfortunately, on a forum such as this, there is only the words to go by.

I bear no ill will or bad things on anyone, just expected something that I guess I should not have expected.

Anyways, I gotta think I am done as I can only explain my position a certain amount of ways.

You all have a nice day.

Wow, that sounds pretty cool. Thanks for the reply.
I like the daily app sites and the stuff I got this year for free :D The quality of the free games has been significantly increased and I like that. Looking forward to the FAAD-app.

Will messaging be available in Germany (EU) also!?
    thx

Sweet, I will be looking forward to the FAAD app! I've been waiting a long time to have it. And guys, don't hate on ICS and FAAD. They never forced developers to do anything, and it seems like most developers that tried it have gotten good things from it. So the developers make a bit more money, the site makes some money, users get a free app and go and possibly buy future apps from that developer. Everyone wins here. FAAD and ICS have both worked really hard to get things this far, so they deserve at least a little bit of credit. Bandwidth costs a lot more than you would think, especially if you have a whole lot of visitors.

Can't wait for the app. Nice work guys!

Hey, Messaging will be for US only, but I am working hard to find a way to satisfy our international crowd.

You Know What, You're a ****ING PRICK. Maybe you should redirect YOUR energy into being a bit more professional. Its easy to see your just a little man inside and a PUSSY. Hiding your own name and any contact information from your website. This isn't China you can't ****ing stop people from giving their own opinions. If David doesn't like your app then you shouldn't say anything in retaliation or throw a few cheap shots just because you'll feel better inside. Why do you suppose TouchArcade or any other site besides PocketGamer doesn't run articles on you guys anymore despite your success? It's because people like you that run the site are assholes. No offense to some developers but like 90% of the apps you guys feature are cr-app. I've enjoyed some of the apps put up for free but if i was a dev i wouldn't want to do business with a person who treats potential consumers like shit and intentionally try to hurt them. You especially shouldn't criticize mods for stating their opinion, you're lucky you haven't recieved an infraction or been banned yet.

    Warning: Vulgar

I would propose that the quality of the apps isn't necessarily FAAD, but just the entire Appstore and its standards in general. And I have gotten some really good finds from FAAD that I wouldn't have ever found otherwise.

Also...I really don't see what it is that's so offensive about what ICS Mobile has said. Your post is more offensive. :\

glad to see an intelligent user on this forum. However, you are only half right. While FAAD does not by itself cause apps to go free, it causes apps who want publicity to go free when they normally wouldn't go free.
    Edit: More like 3/4 right.

    This +1

Also, you never know what data will be collected and in which ways this data is used.
Today, data (= knowledge) is pure money.

I don't use FAADs homepage and I won't use the FAAD app.
Appshopper is fine for me, too.

Do you remember that Apple has an Approval process right? And guess what? Our App was approved, the only thing that is collected in this App is your App Wish! so that we can compile all wishes and request apps from the developers, also what's wrong with free text messaging? I mean seriously....

And why do you think the biggest developers such as Tomorrow's app from one of the biggest publisher/developer in the world would want to work with us? Seriously..

You have Apple backing the app and some gigantic developers lined up, I mean If you don't feel like using the app and telling us which app you want to go free, sure I got no problem with that, but shadiness come on now..

    Hi,

I do appreciate the kind words posted by Steelfires and Vovin in understanding my position.

In no way do I go along with the vile post by Fazfznz, way too far and totally uncalled for.

ICS Mobile, you have a way with words, Apple approving an app is not quite the same as "backing" an app or a developer.

I do think this app being out will help customers and developers, regardless of any misgivings I have of the developer of this app.
