Well, I just got my first iPhone app up - The Bell. Probably one of the most basic things in existance (shake your device to ring the bell), but hey it's free and was basically my learning experience to figure out iPhone programming and how to post stuff to the App Store. Congratulations. That is a really ugly bell. I love it. Did you find that in a Valu-Village? Is that your reflection in the handle? Can we expect more ugly bells in future upgrades, like with kittens or angel babies or other typical old people designs?
Haha, thanks That is indeed my reflection in the handle and yes it definitely an old person style design (which I quite like).. but then again the person that painted it is old anyway so it all links together somehow. As for future stuff, if there's enough call for babies in clouds playing the triangle, and kittens with milk then I'm sure there'll be an upgrade for it (you know you want it!)
Well, in all honesty, you have no doubt invested many hours familiarizing yourself with syntax and perhaps even the programming paradigm: you should probably flesh out some projects that will bring in the cash. Then give us more ugly bells.
You know, if you wanted someone to ring your bell, you could have just asked. I'm not saying someone would take you up on your request, but I mean, this is a pretty elaborate way of asking...

Credit where due: the idea sounds obvious, but I personally haven't heard of it being done before! Suggestion to make an app that could actually be pretty cool: allow people to set the note played by the bell. Then you could gather a row of iPhone users acting as virtual bell-ringers to play full melodies Hey, at least it would make a cool YouTube stunt to promote your next app!
