Perhaps TA should get some sort of petition going where devs and users alike and vote on this subject?

It may not win the heart of Apple just yet, but it's a start at something more tangible that we can build upon.

psj3809 nicely put, and don't get me wrong. I do hit the fast food up now and then, it certainly has it's place!

It's been a little while, but recently I've wanted to explore the paid, free and freemium models as well as if iOS users will really accept a premium gaming model in terms of cost.

So I got off my butt and did a little writing: Is the App Store a Digital McDonalds?

When I think of the App Store, I think of it as a huge store where there are different departments but the shelf space goes on forever. One of the issues is that all the self space looks the same so it is hard to get noticed when all the packaging needs to look the same as well (even though the content is different).

There isn't a single best answer for how an app store should look. It will take plenty of slow, methodical evolution before things are as close to perfect as they can get. It's pretty exciting to be at the beginning of such a fundamental shift in the way games are distributed and I'm already gearing up my, "back in my day, kiddo, things were different" stories.
