I don't really view their website, but you can't deny that at least they have a Best of 2010 list that exceeds only 10 games. Considering the scope of great games that have been released this year, there's about 20+ worthy nominees, and STP did a good job on covering all of them in this Top 50.
10: Cut The Rope 9: NOVA 2 8: Angry Birds 7: Helsing's Fire 6: Real Racing 2 5: Aralon 4: Infinity Blade 3: Chaos Rings 2: Plants vs Zombies 1: GTA: CTW Those are the 10 best games in Slide to Plays oppinion. I can understand their choice for GOTY!
kinda strange, some of it doesn't make sense like the order they're all in and a few games they left out of the top 50 completely.
Wow this finished off as a truly excellent list. I'm a much bigger fan of TA and never bother even checking other sites, but STP definitely beat out touchgen and TA with its list.
Well you certainly pleased the Angry Birds people by putting their game ahead of a current-gen Halo knockoff that I'm guessing took more brains, time, and diversity of input to make. That's quite a feat in my book.
I don't agree with the order that much - Lego HP is quite low as are several others. Still an ok collective list. *Prepares for IB vs Aralon fights*
Top 10 iPad games of 2010: #10: Scrabble for iPad #9: Osmos for iPad #8: Blokus HD #7: Puzzle Quest 2 #6: Cut the Rope HD #5: Infinity Blade #4: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD #3: World of Goo #2: Chaos Rings for iPad #1: Plants Vs Zombies HD I was right when I guessed World of Goo and PvZ. I'd also like to point out that PvZ is the 2nd best iphone game of 2010 and thee best iPad game of 2010 according to STP. Yeah, PvZ rules!!!!
It should've been PvZ. I absolutely love that game. I beat it twice, collected all the plants, and left great 5 star review on iTunes.
Well it's a surprising top 3 for me. I totally disagree that Hot Pursuit is not one the 50 best this (last) year. It's interesting to see PvZ score higher than Chinatown for iPad, and vice versa for iPhone.
I wouldn't say it's acquired. It's more like the way people don't like toy story 3. People just like to be different.
