Featuring some awesome signature spots like Taj Mahal, Statue of Liberty, Pyramids and many many more exciting and fastinating spots! ahh my drawing sucks, but I did a side view, top view, (they might not match up, actually) and the car design (top is side view, bottom is top view) Car view Just used Steven's format Here goes nothing: Title: Bumper Coaster (couldn't think of a better name ) Creator: Zylch Description: Bumper Cars roller coaster fashion! Each person controls their own car and tries to get behind the other person and bump them (not dangerous at all). There are loops and up downs. There's also a radar which shows you where the other car/s are so you can try and bump them. Right after you bump another player, you are frozen for a couple seconds so they can get away but not bump you straightaway. Acceleration is automatic, although there are brakes equipped. Each time you bump someone you get a point. After 5 minutes, the one who gets the most points wins and the cars slowly stop and come to an end; going back to the start area. Upgrades: More loops and updowns + more players allowed on the ride each play (starts with 2 people at a time, as the ride gets larger, up to 6 players can be held at a time. My entry that I'd like to submit here. It would be a rollercoaster called Baby Ride or any sarcastic name. It would be 100 meters high with a first big downhill coming down in 0 angle! It would have a loop that goes down instead of up. It depends on the quantity and quality of submissions! If the panel is blown away by the submissions and could not possibly choose between two of them, then there is a good possibility!
... I will say however, that the prize we are giving a away is extremely valuable. It will take an artist around 3 working days to implement the 3D animated ride + a day or two for a coder to to get it in game in a manner that will allow it to be customisable/whatever else you have noted in your design spec + design time to get the ride into the game's economy in a way that isn't broken. That represents 50+ hours of work, and if you do the maths, that's a lot of money as far as wages go! To bring in another artist and another coder to implement two rides into the game would take two really, truly special ride designs that could not in any way be chosen between. So you should certainly act on the assumption that there will be 1 prize winner.
I believe that you can edit your posts on Touch Arcade. At the moment, I think people seem to only just be figuring out how truly awesome this competition and prize is... so for those who have already entered and may have rushed, I would say that yes, you can edit your competition submission one time. However, once you have done so, that is it, your entry is final. Additionally, for those yet to enter, once you have submitted your entry, it is final. So take your time - remember, this is a competition and that you are competing against everyone else. I will be monitoring the thread heavily from this point on to ensure that no cheating takes place, and yes, altering your submission after you have entered will be considered cheating!
Ha, I think a lot of people are no doubt doing the very same thing Wafflyw. Might be a risky strategy though - someone might have thought of your fantastic idea too! Here's mine. I call it the "MooCoaster" inspired by the cow that jumped over the moon. Rising 500 feet and reaching speeds of 125 mph it has a double vertical drop zero G twistafun coil on the way down. Mooooo!!!

I think I might have a go at this competition, i have been a massive fan of RollerCoaster Tycoon after all Edit: Is this only open to US candidates are can anyone in the world do this competition?
Here is my entry. Image might be too big. The spiral ride was my core idea and as I draw further, more elements come into it. At the end I was amused as I drawn a monster-like ride . The theme here is to have some bits of different themes for this cool ride. There are fire display, waterfall, and spooky ride. I aware that the physics is not making any sense but hey, we are suppose in the imaginary world right?
DEATH SHUTTLE Are you prepared to meet Death? If yes, go and ride the shuttle to hell. This ride will make your heart stop and almost meet your maker. The ride starts of fast as soon as it hits the edge. They will go crazy with the spiral intestine, have a little air or at least enjoy the remaining time they got on the SPIRAL RIBS before going to the main, THE HEART OF DEATH track that will surely stop their heart from beating. Then the ride goes a bit slower towards the top, PIT STOP OF DEATH. After a few seconds of gasping for air, the ride goes back again but now in REVERSE and will surely make the ride twice thrilling and horrifying. They will go in reverse mode in FULL Speed even on the SPIRAL RIBS, until the end. Every upgrade makes the STARTING POINT a bit higher and will make the ride a bit faster and exciting. So ARE YOU PREPARED to meet DEATH? Any last words? Muahahahaha! -Death NOTE: I think adding flames on every spiral will make it even better.
