Another vote here for Aurum Blade Free! Thanks to undeadcow and squarezero for pointing this out. After I read squarezero's comparision to Diablo, I immediately downloaded it and it's great so far.
I'm not ready to vote, but so far am really liking both Jetpack Joyride and Draw Race 2. I also picked up Crimson: Steam Pirates (free, with IAP for chapter 2) but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm not sure if I'll get anything else new this week, especially with the onslaught of Labor Day Weekend sales here in the US, which will probably take some of my money. Already have, in fact.
Frogbert by Donut Games is also out this week. Seems fun so far, but the timing of the jumps will take some getting used to.
I nominate samurai blood show it feels like a real game, not just some pc flash game like the rest of the weeks releases.
You consider Draw Race 2 to be like a PC flash game? Have you played Draw Race 2? It couldn't be done a PC, let alone via Flash. It's inherently dependent on a touch screen, for one (using a mouse to draw the racing line and speed would be near impossible with a mouse/trackpad) and the graphics are pretty fantastic, far beyond flash games.
Nah I'm thinking jetpack joyride and muffin knight .. not that big on racing games so I didn't grab draw race2. Maybe I'll give it a go...anyway samurai blood show is awesome.
