There is a thread for the first version with over a thousand posts of users gushing over how good the game is, there's no point in saying it all over and over (especially while i'm playing the update)
Trust everyone... just get it and you'll see. I don't think there's a single dissenting opinion of the hundreds given thus far on the quality and enjoyability of this game. When it comes to creating fun games with loads of replayability, Paul knows what's what. Oh, and as for the discovery of secret areas ... hmmm. I did try looking for colour variations, or subtle pixel variations in the stones, but couldn't detect any. Might have been the lighting of the dungeon as a whole perhaps. I'll have to go back to a known secret door and check again.
I believe I have found a problem with the update... Retreating is near impossible now. I died trying to escape from a troll. The fight lasted atleast 20 seconds, and no matter which direction I dragged, it wouldn't let me run away.
Finally got killed after trying to take on a Dark Werecat A few impressions: I have video set to play (to see if any new ones were added) and the fargoal screen flashes several times before it plays No screen flip for the iphone users I'd love to swipe to a target with the Wand of Striking and continue to tap the target to continue striking them Auto pickup the strongest shield with a notification would be great. Right now I check my durability, grab the new one, step away to check it (faster than opening the menu), then step back and switch again if it was weaker than the one I had. LEGEND is bringing on deaths quickly and I'm spending a lot of time rerolling stats and starting over. Maybe when you select a dead adventurer it can ask if you want to start over? Same stats but entirely new dungeon

Possibly a bug in the video player. We've been plagued by this for a while now. It's different on different OS versions. Hopefully fixed in an OS update. It's coming. Press the action button for the wand after your first shot. It will shoot again. The text does describes the quality of the shield. And sometimes you want a crappy throw-away one. Also, picking up a shield uses a turn... could mean life or death. Yeah, maybe? I dunno. I always just take what stats are thrown at me for the challenge. Everyone's different I'm sure. Keep bringin' the feedback, we'll mull it over for the next update.

I do too but I went into Legend a few times with stats under 10 and was wiped out in one mighty blow several times, haha.
Oh NO you didn't! Actually I tried normal but it didn't feel like a challenge, Plus I love the new lighting effect on Legend it's as beautiful as the fog effects

This game just got even better. I've been playing for about an hour now and I'm loving it. In my opinion this is the best update I've had for a game on the iphone and I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates all the work you've been doing. It's clear that all who are involved care a lot about this project. Kudos.
GAH! A corpse! That's dreadful! (Okay, the dramatic zoom-in-and-out was awesome. I had a laugh at that.) EDIT: Huh... you can choose to close chests now. I wonder what that would be useful for?

Oh, so that's how it is, huh? My carelessness in leaving chests open could lead to them being re-trapped in an attempt to fool me into thinking I hadn't opened them yet? Well, no sir, I say. No, sir! How about I just close them, then? Huh? How about that, Mister Trap-Happy? Then they won't know I'd opened them so they won't try and re-trap them. How ya like me now? Shyeah, I thought so.
