why is the icon for this (and saucelifter) not retina? (the graphics for this and saucelifter are hi-res however)
Hmmm, probably because, honestly, it got forgotten I think, and then it wasn't a priority since Sword of Fargoal 2.0 is in the works and will have a new icon and will be hi-res. Sorry about that! I hope it doesn't ruin anything for you too much. We'll do better! I promise that. I thought Saucelifter icon was hi-res? Will have to look into that. Not that Madgarden has any time to put any love into our little Saucey game. Eventually he'd like to revisit it for at least an update though if at all possible. I love our little flying saucer game. It never got near the amount of love that it should have (I'm biased I know). I'll check into that for you though and let you know if the answer is completely different than what I assumed. ALSO: Sword of Fargoal family, I want to poll interest in SoF plushies? Mostly because I want one (or 10) for myself. But I'm just wondering if there is any interest among our fans regarding these sorts of things. I know at one time there were a couple. Just checking again. Honestly, I can't even explain it but I find the idea of the SoF hero character plushie appealing. As a grown and married man, however, I think it would be a difficult purchase for me to justify.
"Here you are my darling dearest... a plushie Werebear! Oops, did they send two by accident? How lucky for us!" Justified.
Shields Madgarden, will tgere be any changes to the amount of shields in v2? I'm playing on Squire to get the Paragon achievement and I haven't found 1 shield since Floor 18!? I'm on Floor 22 now and I'm taking a beating lol.

So... We're still on schedule for release sometime later this month? Spoiler I obviously made that June release part up, but can you blame me for trying?
Schedule? Where we're going, we don't NEED schedules... It'll be done when it's ready. Or, when I've almost run out of money, whichever comes first.
I'm hoping for "when it's ready" Because we can't have you running out of money on us. Hopefully you make ton money from the update to become a "Happygarden". I for one plan on getting all iap's that are to be released once the update hits; thats the least I can do as a long-time fan.
In Training I am now officially in training for Fargoal 2, hoping that at least some of my skills will transfer despite all the additions/changes. Last three heroes met their ends in dungeons 16 or 17. My last hero, Madgarden, suffered terribly before succumbing. And he was the unluckiest s.o.b i've ever played with in terms of acquiring shields, spells, and wands. I think he did this on purpose. I'm sure he did. I do not trust him.
Ha! It just might work... Could make a nice Christmas present, I suspect. Hoping my wife wants an iPad too (so I can use it when she's asleep) and then maybe I can get her into Fargoal. She doesn't like dungeons though, so it may be a hard sell.
