Ok thanks. Oh, and are Silver Orb, Lion's Eye, and Dragon's Eye all active at once? If not how do I activate them?
They are always in use which is why they are in the USE section The other goodies like shields, wands, and amulets will be under Equip so you know that you need to switch out which one you are using
So all the orbs I have now are active? Anyway, what's the weild button for? All I've seen is that it shows your shield, is it used for anything else? And are wands rare? because I haven't come across any.
Ok so I'm playing on squire last night, and I find a "Fine Reflective Shield" on floor 14? And so I'm walking around and I fall into a pit "thud" and so now I'm on floor 16 and I find a temple so I stay on it till full health then walk around till I find a "Fine Dragonscale Shield" I'm so happy now and I trade my shield out and walk a little bit and fall into another pit "thud again" so floor 19 here I come, I walk around abit until 3 Lizardmen pop outa nowhere and butt rape me so I keep spawing on 16 trying to get all me gear thats on 19, and my poor Dragonscale shield, I die 10 or so times because I keep getting owned on 16 by Warlords and such, so I finially made it got my stuff (O' shieldy how I missed ya) found a temple on 19 and here I am typing this out.
Find the stairs and run for your life, this exact same thing happened to me almost, I was on 5, and was a level 7 when I fell into a pit, taking me to 9, I continue to walk around and fall into another one effectively taking me to 13, but I'm playing heroic and so I ran around trying not to die, using most of the potions I had, I killed some things and finally made it back to floor 11, but now am level 9 so I'm plodding my way through floor 11 with no shield, because sadly all 6 of my shields have been destroyed.
Nice finding all those lovely shields, lucky getting them back! I still haven't gotten a temple nor dragonscale shield. There were no ropes to climb back up the pits you fell down?
Well the ropes work unless your smart enough to get stuck in a room with a one way door. I did it twice
Yeah the ropes all broke (My luck) and I have still yet to find a Temple Shield, the cool thing about the Dragonscale is that it deflects firebolts
Bah. Wuss. Only thing I need when I go up against a red dragon is a big bag of marshmallows and a change of Depends. And because I'm such a bad-ass, I may not even change after.
Not sure what you're meaning by "wield" button. I don't recall SoF even having a wield button! heh Do you mean equipment in the menu? Or? Wands aren't rare but really its the luck of the random draw, tbh. I find a lot of them in the hidden rooms and in poison trapped chests in my current game. Speaking of wands, am I the only one that has trouble with them shooting when I don't want them to? It really ticks me off when I inadvertently double tap and off it goes! Grr. Maybe if there are enough of us Madgarden will listen to my pleas and change it somehow instead of his most helpful snickers and telling me to stop doing *that*.
Yeah, but those little things are expensive, and it'll take days before you can go back down again...
You know now that I think about it those would have been useful if I had thought of using them. Look at me I just keep getting smarter and smarter Then there's that time that there was a circular maze thing with traps nearly every where, and I literally stepped on every single one, there must have been at least 30 - 40 traps, then half way through I got poisoned like 5 times in a row, and the poison lasted for like 5 minutes. *starts crying* all my poor little health potions were gone *sob* and *sob* then a big bad dragon shot fire at me and incinerated me *as he floods the rooms with his tears* and *sob* now I can see my *sob* characters dead body:'( lol
Jeez, you're married to the coder. Just tell him no sex until he sneaks a super shield into your game. All's fair... You know.
aww you didnt have any detect trap spells eh? Methinks Madgarden is going to have to add a wand of "paying for psychiatry bills" if this keeps up! We're traumatizing all you adventurers! LOL Doffie, no special treatment here. He's bad. And you crack me up!
Well after running through them all I realized no matter what I would have hit them all since they covered every space of the floor, I should have taken a screenshot, it was insane, but I did get a Dragon's Eye from it (which really didn't matter since I died soon after it).
