From someone who's played Fargoal as much as I have. Other than speeding healing at temples (not needed since the update)' what the he'll does it do?

I am playing smarter these days, but this game, so far, is the luckiest I've had. Temple shield since dungeon 4 --- now down to 16, with Paul my Hero at Level 17, enchanted up the gazoom, strength potions I've not even touched so far. Still have never found the dragon scale shield, but no complaints.

Also noticed that those silly vases that uses to either contain asps or nothing at all now sometimes contain goodies.

I might die from an overdose of fun.

 

Sorry Doffie, I don't understand the question? What does what do... the temple shield? I didn't speed up the healing for the update at all, but the temple shield speeds up healing as if you were standing on the temple.

That hero sounds familiar... somehow, I imagine him to be very dashing.

Yes, I understand the temple shield is making life and healing as sweet as a wet dream. However, I still don't know whether regen does anything other than speed healing when one is without a temple shield. Is that clear? If so, I'll rephrase it.

 

Before and after the update, I've occasionally had a problem where my character goes nuts and starts running off to a spot in the distance, as if maybe there is some feature where if you double tap a spot your character runs to it, except that that's not in there. Is this a feature I'm accidentally triggering? Is it a bug? Is it a feature in that sometimes your character goes nuts?

 

The temple shield is basically like having a regen spell going in perpetuity. (Well, as long as you have the shield.) So, it's always healing when you're hurt whether you're on a temple or not. If you're on a temple, you get twice the healing. If you further cast regen, you get 3x healing speed. If, further to that furtherance, you recite the lyrics to a Taylor Swift song, Kanye West will disrupt your healing to tell you ancient Rome had the greatest temples of all time. Of all time! And then he'll let you finish.

I've still never seen a Temple shield, and I get chills thinking of the number of games I've played since Legend mode came (and no, I've still never won Legend, but I have a good feeling this time... again). I still wonder occasionally if the Temple Shield is this thread's version of a snipe hunt, and I'm the poor rube you guys are messing with.

So all of you with yer high fahlutin' Temple Shields: Love them. Cherish them. Never let them go.

 

I do but try. It was either that joke or the tired, "Yo dawg, I heard you like healing, so I put a temple in your temple so you can heal while you heal!" Though let's face it: A choice between Kanye or Xzibit memes is like choosing between greasy diner meatloaf and old Spaghettios that taste like the can.

And now back to my regularly scheduled dragon hoard raids.

Maybe you should name your next hero Paul. Works for me! In fact, my next heros will probably be Paul the Second, Paul the Third, etc.

This is by far my fav iPhone game, I relize that the update was just released, but it didn't add much (I mean DLC or things of that sort) what is supposed to come in the "big" update, and when do you plan on releasing it? Again Madgarden you have outdone yourself and I thank you for making such a bad @$$ game that I spend HOURS everyday playing

 

Thanks ... Yes 1.3 was mostly a bug fix build with some extra stuff. The big update will add some DLC, and more of the same kind of improvements as the last few builds, but also changes to the dungeon environment that will just make it that much more diverse and fun to explore.

 

An when is this big update scheduled to be released?

 

It isn't exactly scheduled yet. We have some other stuff to wrap up first. It will hopefully be ready before summer.

 

I was wondering, what do the enchant weapon spells do? I've got 9 of them now, but I have no idea what they do, do they just make my weapon hit harder? Also what do Lion's Eye, Dragon's Eye, and Silver Orb do? And what's Beacon for? Thanks.
