This can work if he goes for the attack with devil's reverse. My problem is that people just spam it all day and float away. Eventually, after 30+ seconds of it and after they've built a ton of meter, they eventually sneak in a hit and then I know I have to get in somehow (since I'm behind) and have to take a chance or two. These days I simply play a Bison once and if that's there style, I move on. Awhile back Snooper recommended that there should be a separate move to do a head stomp v. a devil's reverse. I think he recommended (assuming SP) charge d + SP for head stomp and the same, but hold SP, for devil's reverse. This just makes a ton of sense.
For Cammy, i can ultra the devil reverse on reaction if they do it to gain meter I can also uppercut if they try to hit me with it. Without meter, I can hooligan slide and hit them as they land or spiral to get close and then uppercut. That move doesn't hit with a decent Cammy. Headstomp is ridiculously easy to punish by backdash - uppercut -FADC - uppercut. Takes 25-30% of hitpoints away so they have to think about using it again If you can't do that, block it...they do chip but wasted a meter. A lot of bisons use EX headstomp to devil reverse. I can uppercut the devil reverse on reaction after a blocked headstomp. This explanation is for the aspiring Cammy's out there that want to defend against the tyranny of Bison
Kara fireball with sagat? It's good for getting in closer for the uppercut/knee or just getting in there. It's also a good fake and mind games thing. If you're good enough you can mix up between Kara tiger knee and fireball.
Then it makes absolutely no sense. Also, I hate how SOD-Batman's being all high and mighty and stuff. Claims that he owns FINIX, Apprunner, and redtiger. What a load of bull.
I fought Mimimapu 5 times in the last couple days. Your Yun is every bit as good or better than his IMO. Most of the matches were with his Ryu and he is very good with him Overall, he is a very skillful opponent.
Mirrors need to be practiced just like any other match. I had Snooper to practice against and that made me a decent mirror player. I imagine it would be hard for you since Yun is such a little utilized character.
My fav. thing to do against sim is play the tele game (when I use bison) idk if its my timing or what, but when getting into tele fights with sim, I always recover to get 1 or 2 standing kicks in, then tele again. I love the matchup when its played correctly, I will upload a match next time I fight a sim and play this way lol
On AE with Bison, you have to select either charge down, up punch for reverse, or charge down up kick for stomp... you can't do both.... which makes stomp and reverse much less effective. I like how it is on VOLT, makes bison's devil reverse and stomps beastily moves lol
Bison's standing kicks have very few start-up frames, compared to Sim's back+Kick. Add to that, Sims either do a straight ground teleport (with very limited quick attack options), or an instant air teleport (causing teleport start-up to be slower), Bison pretty much wins out all the time.
Sorry I might be a little late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIF!! I would've loved to give you some birthday beats but I'm afraid I must go to bed for now.. ;P lol Play you soon!
