    DUDEEEEEE

I also feel your pain, if my boss is walking by my office, sorry, screen is off and I have dropped the match lol.

@Mooken, I have noticed this actually... some people complain about a certain person RQ, but then once you fight them and even beat them good a few times, and they don't quit.. its like whats the difference??

I guess thats why the term "rage quit" is applicable to these guys.... its only once your seeing red and in that rage do your reflexes go to home button.. lol

I wish I were a Ditto. I'd copy you guys's skills. And your maturity about BP. Which I wish I had. But can only gain through experience. Blegh...

Also, is Hao Soh actually a good player? He's 3300 BP and I beat him with my scrubby Viper in friendlies. His Bison was so predictable, and his Spa(m)kuma could get a bit predictable too. So easy... and my Viper is (in my opinion) not very good.

You want BP too much you are gonna play tense and tend to lose more. Sucks but that is life :D

Hao Soh is terrible in friendlies. I played him a couple times and was like whaaaat... However, can't say for sure as people play differently on ranked (at least I do).

It's sad when we assume everyone we play that we don't know is going to quit. How low the standards have gotten..... :p

I was dead set on getting a Vita until I heard the Guilty Gear announcement yesterday, now I'm leaning more towards a PS3 and keeping my PSP and iPhone for mobile gaming. I'm so CONFUUUUUUUUUUSED!!!!! :D

At this point, i've played so much that its uncommon for me to fight someone on ranked i haven't played before. I've lost enough too where most of the legit players know that i will not quit when I lose. :D As a famous Guile once said "honor > BP" hehe.

I like Metsu Hadoken shenanigans. I Metsu Hadoken, my opponent uses Tiger Destruction. He hits me around two times, but then the Metsu Hadoken catches him.

Why don't Sagats use Tiger Uppercut - FADC - Tiger Knee? Sure, it does 50 less damage than TU - FADC - HSK, but it sends them around full screen away. Easy to get them into the corner.

Because Sagats are turtles by nature. I have never been cornered by a Sagat...in fact, almost every single one of Sagat matches end up with him in the corner and me trying to bait something out :D

I agree with you on this 100%

I lose a TON of friendly's, but thats because I am willing to take certain chances, or try things that don't usually work for me. When I am on ranked, it is usually 100% business and I am playing to win, by any costs....

On friendly's I will do stupid shit to chase a runaway akuma or blanka, but in ranked, I will get the life lead and spam devil reverse at nothing if you are walking backwards. I have the patience on ranked to let the timer run out, on friendly, f that shit, I am going to try new stuff lol

I'll play Sagat a bit to try to make Sagats more willing to rush people down. I hope it works, anyway.

You know whats funny...i have a TON of replays up with me losing to really low BP fighters because I play so dumb on friendlies :D People must wonder if i'm a cheater because my BP is relatively high but my skill sometimes can be very very low...i get so freakin lazy you would believe the crap i try to pull off. Its also me training a new move till i get it right so i tend so suck even more. funny...

I was not impressed with Hao Soh and also thought he was very spammy. But he didn't quit on me in ranked. I had a replay of beating his Bison in two rounds but didn't upload it because it really wasn't that interesting, even though I was happy beating a 3k+ player. I had my doubts whether he was legit but he's got over 6000 ranked matches and I think he just uses a lot of characters, some better than others (apparently Gief is his most-used character). There are videos of him playing as a ton of different characters but he's never posted one himself so they're all probably losses.

I played him a few hours ago, I won and he quit in ranked.
It's getting normal that 75% of the people quit.. gmmpf.. :(
I would probably get 75% more BP, and when I play against spammy sagat's or something like that they win, I continue.. then I win and they quit.. pff.
Want to smash my ipod out of the window :p:rolleyes:

    +1 Felix....

I see some of your posts and feel your frustration... I have never raged at a game the way I rage at SFVolt... not so bad anymore that I met all my goals that I have ever had for the game, but before I ever cracked 2kBP that was my life long goal. I wanted to show my friend who also plays Volt that I could get to 2k, and everytime I would get to 1800ish, I would either fight a highBP player and they would quit not giving me the few points I needed, or I would go on a losing streak and just keep falling below 2k... such a frustrating issue. After the last update, I got like a 54 win streak and not only broke my 2k goal, but got to 3k+ and that was a very good feeling to finally have met it.

You are an AMAZING player, you post all these little facts and combos that 99% of the community didnt even know possible, AND you can execute them!

If you were able to successfully make a rush down sagat, I know you could get to 4k BP EASY. I can't play Sagat well, but you, especially if you practice will get him down scary...

I think you should do play sagat... you will destroy :D

Ya, I hear you... sometimes I see if I can beat people only using light kicks, FA and teleport... no jumping or walking LOL

Also, in friendly's, I love practicing blocking, dashing, and FA's... it really has translated into my ranked playing because every once in a while, I do a FA dash out of relfex due to trying on friendlys and I get out of some sticky situations. In friendly's i'll put my handicap at 3 stars and try and run the timer out without dying, and without throwing out any attacks, most people quit against me when I do that though LOL. It really has helped my blocking game, that is #1 issue with most players on ranked, they arent patient enough and don't block enough

Edit* - apprunner, you available for a quick match or two right now? we haven't played in a while, and I beleive I still haven't beaten your cammy with my bison yet :D
