Just fought an Akuma with my Gief. Over two rounds he did nothing but fireball and jump backwards. Not a single kick, punch, crouch, neutral jump, nothing. I'm still pretty bad with Gief against spammers, so he won. Actually, my performance was downright pathetic. I wasn't mad. Despite my horrible attempt to get to this guy, I'm kind of getting used to the nonstop spam everybody insists on using against Gief. I shrug it off and move on. Next match, I mirror him with Akuma and destroy him. He rage quits. This game's community... *sigh*.

I switched to the French server, played a few matches and then registered for the French tourney. When I switched back to English it was fixed. hope this helps. Good luck.
I'd contact the beeline media support folks and make sure you re-sync your device to itunes, as well as clearing out your net cache and cookies (for the web page). Also, @Lyn-Ho, If you are reading this, you are a good player and I don't want you to think I was disrespecting you by leaving the game. The lag was so bad for both of us that I really didn't see the point in continuing to play. Even when lag is bad, I usually stick around to the bitter end, but when we got to the point where ultras were unpunishable and we were teleporting from half-screen one frame to mid-throw another frame, it was a bit too much to keep playing with any sort of heart in it. [I'm sure it wasn't any more fun for you to play in that slideshow]. This was entirely my fault for playing in a seriously low-signal area, though. If you are on later tonight, (10pm or later Munich Time), I'll be at home on a connection where we can punish each others' blocked ultras and we can't throw each other from 6 feet away. Cheers, Null
That's normal at the beginning.. Just play an other character till your 2000+ BP.. Then you can play Zangief against people not spamming, but I don't think the problem with running away will be solfed. Zangief is pretty hard to play in ranked.. most people play akuma in ranked. Try that?
If viper get's the overhead in the next update, I'm not gonna change from character. That's probably all I'm waiting for! But if ibuki come's I'll take her

M.CUONG - 4800BP Bison I saw Ten0nez post and figured I would share my grief with this guy... He challenged me a while ago, I beat him first time we played in ranked and he RQ, didnt think much of it. Then police made a comment about them being friends and that I was the one who RQ, whatever, its police he will say what he will M.QUONG sends me game invites just about every day, I accepted one a while ago and he beat me, then messaged me back with some stupid BS about how I suck and he is god blah blah So I haven't been accepting his invites because the dude is clearly a douche, he sent me one a few mins ago, I accepted, we played.... I dominated first round, second round was laggy, he had no life left, whiffed an EX headstomp and I was standing right next to him to get the winning standing kick..... and the game drops. F your 4800BP, bro. Just as fake as police. I got up to 4.4-4.6 range during Bison tourney, and I can honestly say I will probably NEVER get the high BP again.. I was on my game for that week the best I ever have been. 4800 seems impossible.... once you get to 4.4k even if you beat a 3kBP player you only get 1BP... maybe 5BP TOPS... how can you go hundreds and hundreds of matches without a single loss.... jeez that clan. tnvt or whatever... all cheaters.. I agree with what everyone is saying, Capcom, regulate this better. Its real simple too, don't allow 2 drops before deducting BP, maybe just 1? And that is only for the people who RQ 2 matches out of every 40... which isnt too hard to pull off. The worse method, that people like Police use, doesnt matter how many DC's they have, it will show 0 because of their method. I'm not a programmer but it would be SOOOO easy to create a value if player's device does this, than remove from leader boards... only jailbroken device can do it. I'm not sure about the entire pull modem thing, but I am sure it works similary to the glitch with a jailbroken phone. SLRC was also right, if they didnt have a top 10 rankings on BN not as many people would have a desire to cheat Speaking of RQ, I was playing AE last night (i'm a total noob on it) and I actually got RQ on by a ken........ it was so funnnnny
i ran into m.cuong a few wks ago. he's probably a 1900 bison at best (he was at 2200BP at the time). we probably ran about 6-7 matches and he didn't drop, despite taking a bunch of losses. odd, how sometimes they'll RQ and sometimes they won't.
I feel your pain. My highest BP i've reached was about 4300 BP and I was on a tear and i got an average of 2 BP per match. It was insane!!! Eventually you are right in that you go through a slump and lose 1k BP in a night! I got my Apprunner account at almost my peak and decided to retire my phone account on ranked because i get lousy wifi at work...and i will abrupty end a match if boss is coming not fair to play ranked like that so i play only friendlies on my phone now. Fun stuff..
