Type+the+end is a fraud. He is 4k and he's played me 3 times today with all his main characters. After decimating him in the first round of each of our fights, he just runs. . And he used Guile. sLRC will take his Guile license away.
A few things> 1. Dayum Cody week! 2. The majority of quitters I'm running into are Cammys nowadays 3. Really wierd replay against Alucard. He uses raging demon in the middle of my Dhalsim Super and then combos tatsu into tatsu wierdly.. I uploaded the replay (check round 3)
Just ran into a Viper with 3.3k BP and 228/63 W/L record. They did not RQ! Also, seriously rewatching that akuma replay vs alucard21, it looks really messed up
I played a lot of Ryu's today and after playing you, had much success against them so thanks for the practice the other day. I posted the replay against a mid level one along with a ton of other vids. Played a ton of higher level in ranked
Haha WTF was that? I think he got lucky with that Ultra, never saw that comming To be honest, I was secretly rooting for the poor Ryu, J/k yeah, I need to practice my Guile or Bison, so I will hit you up Tom night if not whenever you have time. I think I am done with Ryu for now.
urgh I decided to give the night time friendlies another shot. They're as bad as ever. I fought a Ken who must have been peeing himself IRL at the thought of getting near me as Gief. I got tired of him and put the phone down. He took Gief's hp down from 2/3 with nothing but hydokens. Even when I refused to move, he wouldn't get near me. 100% of the people I fought tonight spammed. I even fought a Cody spammer. He just did that kick nonstop for an entire round. This only happens to me when I use Gief. It brings the worst out of people. Almost everybody forgets they're playing a game and they freak out and start mindlessly mashing the SP button. If they don't spam, they just run so I need to chase them (not chasing will result in spam 100% of the time). These matches at night can go on for what seems like forever because nobody will actually fight. I know somebody will want to chime in with "why would they want to get near Geif" and "they're just using the moves given to their character, it's not cheap", but I assure you that's not what I'm talking about. These are uncompromising, mindless SP tapping spammers. I'm still trying to learn to deal with the spammers as Gief. I rematched a few of them so I could used to it. EVERY time I did that ended with my opponent running away and not fighting. If spamming wasn't an option anymore, they just wouldn't fight.
I got it with a bunch of American Express points I had. It was only $10 after I used the points lol! PRO=Performing Rights Organization. When I sell an album, they collect and pay me my royalties for the songwriting part of it. But they also have GREAT wifi! SF2 is still one of the most solid fighting games ever created, especially Hyper Fighting. I wish Capcom would put some netcode in the SF Collection because I'd love to play people at those games.
@ivwshane it looks like there was already one of the six matches between Cyrus and I posted, and it was the one I lost. I had saved the replays of the first three, which I posted for you. I didn't have enough space for the other three, but if Cyrus has it there was a fabulous match where we basically perfect each other in rounds 1 and 2. Really demonstrates how fast the momentum swings in this match. Enjoy.
It's still great. I was more referring to the graphics. We thought it looked so amazing back then. When I see it now, it's amazing how it looks nothing like how I remember.
I'm not an amazing player by any stretch but playing online has made me realize I'm a lot better than I give myself credit for. Cuz godDAMN there are some just positively AWFUL players out there!
I'm checking them out now, thanks! One thing that I think you have mastered and that um severely lacking in is your jumping fierce punch. I don't know how you are able to connect with it so much and so easily. In one of the replays its as if you did the punch just barely off the ground and then controlled the jump wtf?!
Honestly I think SF2's characters look better than SF4's. Sf4 characters look too blocky IMO. Bu none of the home systems could reproduce a 24-bit arcade game like SF back in the day so in comparison it WAS amazing, especially all those extra frames that weren't in the SNES version.

So I had a late start on the Cody tournament, and I was about to take first place. Then all of a sudden, That -Sod-BatmanOG- guy comes up with 280 EP. I didn't even see him on the top 5 ranking for the tourney 10 minutes before. Please tell me he cheated, I want this tournament badly

Are the ones in the bottom-right corner? In that case I'm not sure, but it's something about the Good Match that you give and recieve.
