@epikninja Sorry for the RQ, I'd lost a couple really close Ranked matches to some dumb Akuma/Blanka shit before we started playing, and then after you beat me with Ryu and picked Guile and started beating on me with him, it was more than I could take. We'll play again at a time when my mental faculties are in better shape if you want. On a personal note, when someone's winning, I'd rather them stick with the character they're winning with rather than changing characters every match because then I don't get a chance to try to beat their strategy and I'm not learning anything. If I'm gonna play and not learn anything, I may as well just beat on some Ken scrubs because at least I'm winning and not learning anything that way.
There's no guarantee of the grab, it's just a mind game. Most bisons just launch into scissor kicks after blocked lk's. So people don't expect it and can't react in time to tech the throw.
Just uploaded a fun match against a decent Akuma player. I outpredicted him so badly in the last round.
Oh no problem man. Yeah next time we play I can use just one character. But that's kind of my strategy when giving rematches. If I can, i'll mix up my picks so the other person doesn't adapt. I hope you recover from those dumb akumas soon, I skip playing them in general.
I felt bad after I did it, I was like, "Bleh, that was a dick move." Lol! It's fine, if that's your strategy, maybe I need to adapt to THAT. I wasn't expecting your Guile to be so solid! You really came out the gate swinging! I don't usually have trouble with Akumas unless they get a life lead and then I end up having to chase them. But Blankas have been the bane of my existence lately. >_<
Ive recently started denying Akuma fights too, especially if they counter select after getting beaten. 98% of the time if they do that its going to be me running out a full timer just trying to catch the guy...f*ck that. I see his face and Im out of there.. Though thats probably a bad Idea for trying to have a well rounded character who can deal with a lot of match ups..
Most Vegas in friendlies spam their jumping move. I mean, what the hell is up with that? THIS IS FRIENDLIES, not RANKED. I mean, it's no fun at all! So I had to whip out the Balrog and open up a can of whoop-ass when Yun just wasn't working well.
Haha no worries man I always lose to Akumas, I have no solution for the spam they give I feel you on your blanka problem, seeing them on the match screen makes me tense
lol, if they are running away like that, get one hit on them and then just sit at other end of screen jumping fire balls. Thats what I do, I taunt them basically... get a tiny life lead, focus a few fire balls, jump over the 3 hit one... make them do their stupid dive slide kick and focus that too =D speaking of taunting, I am a noob on AE and yesterday I fought a Ken who was kicking my ass, then in the middle of the match the mother ####er taunted me! I was like dude, clearly you have way more hours and clearly based on my PP and BP I am a noob.. I ended up coming back and winning! He was talking so much shit on the mic, I just laughed and said you taunted me bro and now you got your ass kicked. hahah I love it

Who do you normally use? Ryu? I don't know if I've ever played Akuma with Ryu. I'd imagine you could hang with the fireball fight thing and then get in and punish him somehow. But I hear you, Akuma matches are always such a crapshoot. In other news, I had this Chun player quit on my FOUR times at the Vs. screen! I kept trying to get us matched up again and again to see if it would keep happening and lo and behold, it did! I was cracking up!
Was it more fun because you were destroying my Viper with Blanka? I really hate that matchup, I stuck in for a couple of matches then I went to Balrog and Zangief.
