Yeah, and my net is not good. I had lag before and after the match with you.

I'm proud that I did it not bad with Sagat and without sp assistant. It's good for practice the fingers :)

Working on the Yun guide, at the moment. I decided to re-write it all, seeing as my writing has improved, and my skills with Yun. It seems that I last worked on it in November. :p

I did some games with Squall on my Abel and a blocked spear into low kick will beat out my mashing tornado throw.

People rarely back dash in Volt, but I find that when people adjust to my spears and tech a throw or SRK, that's the perfect spot to drop a Super (for the former) or a block -> punish (for the latter). I'm pretty sure a Super has enough range to catch a back dash. There are a ton of variables with spear which makes it so useful.

Also, like you, everyone wants to chase Sim to the corner. I abuse that by jumping back and quickly spearing into an opponent who rushes to chase me.

If Capcom really wanted to make Yun an excellent character in here, they'd give us Tetsuzanko - FA (Lvl 2). Anyways, I'm going to continue with the guide later.

This is exactly what Squall caught me with over and over again, I'll have to reevaluate the match up and change some strategies as much as losing suck it is a part of learning I suppose.

Try using her exclusively for a week, and see how the match-ups go on ranked. I had a lot of trouble dealing with sagats' jump kicks.

Ok so after toying with the Sim dive kick in training there are only two really decent options Fei has against it.

-A well placed anti air will trade most of the time with it winning maybe 2/10 times I've tried it. (Flame Kick, st punch, st kick.)

-A very well time forward dash allows you to cross under and get a standing hp rekka chain if you are fast enough to catch him during the spear animation, this is very hard to do if it is a instant spear and still hard to do on reaction regardless.

A jump does work on mid air drills but not on instant one in fact the jump attempt on a instant drill either gets you hit in the air or causes Fei to stop blocking all together so I don't find it very practical. A jump back may work but again you would be giving him the space he wants and Sim wins a range game against Fei.

I notice that most games with Jap players are hard to win even they don't have high bp, always tough. Just upload a replay vs ID:lovely_jenny, being lucky to win that set.

    I thought Chun-Li's crouch kick can anti-air?

I found that I can't do platformers anymore either. They used to be fun 10 years ago, but it seems I grew out of it now. I could still handle Run Roo Run since the levels are really short. The thing about that game though was that it was intimidating looking at all the levels if you wanted to completely beat it with 420+ levels. I haven't tried Jazz Trumps Journey, but I don't think I ever will; the screen shots don't look too appealing.

Is it possible to neutral jump?

Haha I'm assuming you didn't see my post on the last page I'm too lazy to retype so I'll just quote it.

Sim's dive kick is great and I'm sure once I play against Squall, KenlKen and Jibba more I'll get used to it but right now it seems so God like vs Fei.

It's more useful against some players than others. I stay away from it mostly against grapplers because it can be punished if not done correctly, and I generally just don't want to be too close to them. It works great against Fei, Viper, Blanka and a bunch of others. But it depends on their style to some degree.

As for Fei, I don't have enough experience yet in matchup from Fei's perspective. I have played the matchup numerous times since I've been practicing my Fei, but like you mentioned previously, most Dhalsim's don't utilize his spear. My thought is that his jump kick seems to work fairly well since it's kind of like an overhead kick in the air. I'd also imagine flame kick would work pretty well but obviously you'd know better than I would.

Overall, your general plan to corner him is the best bet, along with punishing teleports every chance you get. Dhalsim gets knocked down a lot and I always hate when Feis rush me down before I even get up, making me make a decision. That's what I generally do in the matchup.

I'll actually be around most of the night once I get home from work if you want to play around with some ideas.

I'm amazed by her pokes. I never really delved into those before. Her standing punch is just so good, and is special cancel-able! But her sweep and standing kick are so good. And, while she might not have her light Kikoken, it's still good to bait people into jumping into a standing kick or sweep. Awesome, it is.

But without meter, what are you gonna do when a ryu/sagat/cammy continually jumps on you? Its really, really annoying to deal with.
