No worries. I sometimes piss people off when I tell them they are rage quitters...they get so mad. One called me gay because he said that Cammys are overpowered Funny stuff....
Hey welcome to TA! You will need to access Battle Network on your IDevice to download those! You should be able to find fffan aka psxsquall's replays under his profile on Ranking. Check out mine too!
Yes, capcom made an hard work on Android! Iphone version is better, more chars even if retina is missing(and I think forever)
Thanks. I haven't played Volt after the update (been playing other games) so I didn't remember they added that Battle Network thing.
I would have been SO jealous if Android had gotten the 3DS version of SF. But even the HD version looks better than Volt. We have SoulCalibur but sadly without online play. You'd think SNK, NAMCO and others would realize how much depth online play adds to a game...just look at this thread compared to KOF-i, Mortal Kombat or SoulCalibur (which was just released but the point still stands).
I decided Chun-Li isn't for me. She's good at mind games, but I find that annoying, especially if my opponent is doing the same. She's good, just not for me. I'm now working on Gief. He couldn't be any less like Akuma, who I'm used to, so I think he'll be a good one to toss into the mix. He's always been my easiest opponent with Akuma, unless I'm fighting somebody like Cyrus. I think I at least solidly know what doesn't work with him. I'm probably going to be playing a lot of friendlies today to try to get the hang of him better.
It looks better, but after the showing at the recent LG sponsored Tournament, it surely didn't look good with the game continuously disconnecting during a match and the typo phrase "Begin Mutching" in your face when you're trying to connect to someone. The other plus I can give it is that it has one of my favorite stages, the Korea Stage. I definitely agree with how the addition of online adds to longevity of the game. It's always different and adds on to the game. Soul Calibur would have definitely benefited from having online included from the launch. Actually, it would have benefited having ANY kind of MP in it from launch. Kof-I and Soul Calibur would definitely benefit strongly with having online included because that really can help push a customer from "Almost buying it" to the other side of the fence of "Buying it". As you've said, look at the threads for the games themselves. People can only discuss so long about a fighting game when there is only single player or it's bluetooth local only, and even with bluetooth local there is no set guarantee that you're going to run into someone else with the game unless you know someone personally that has the game as well. Not everyone has a group of people that they can just go to and play, depending on where they live, and that's where online helps. You at least get to play another human somewhere on the planet. It might be laggy, but you know it's someone else instead of the CPU. Even with online, you can play anyone from virtually anywhere provided you have a good connection. I know I can give online in Volt criticism at times, but I can't say I did not get my $6.99 out of it with the time I've put into the game. TL;DR: Fighting games in the Appstore would benefit more from having online included with effort put into online and not just tacked on.
I am having a lot of trouble with Balrog challenges..... to the point where I can not even complete the first one. I get the first two inputs, I get the charge, but I can't get it all to connect.... any advice?
I'm surprised that people recognise my name. I've definitely run into TA people are they usually are pretty good. I main Guile, but in friendly I like to play around with Sakura and Cody (unfortunately, Cody's not as good as he is in arcade)
I tried now to complete the challenges again using SP... It was a mess. I feel tricky the link between the ¿kick? And the dash punch. If you are using SP you notice that you lose a little time getting the <- input. Maybe you should try without assistant. It is helpful with the Buffalo Head and the ultra too.
ya, its the dash punch. I have tried with and without SP......... I feel like I am just not getting the joystick perfectly left.... I'm not sure. Its annoying as hell. I have everyones challenges done and I can not even get his first one.
Hold down back, press p then k, hold back and press sp. Theres no links, its pretty easy. The only trouble i had with balrogs challenges was the headbutt-ultra. Hold down back, press up back + p, keep holding back and then do the ultra. You have to hold k for the first bunch of hits, let go of k for the second bunch (theyll miss) and then k for the rest.
