    Thanks :)!
I was watching the replays and just realised, there were some opportunities you could actually combo into ultra in game. I don't know if you are trying to avoid using it as it is quite risky (if so I totally understand that). Check "Uryo" on YouTube, he plays #2Viper and #1Sakura. He's crazy, especially on connecting to his ultra! If you already knew, just forget ;)

Oh, and the replays I uploaded ended up with more of my wins. So please do upload yours as well if you want to, we had some random matches but it was 50-50 in the end  such a fun. I love playing great players like you:D!

I know that feel bro. But, that's what people do these days. At least you can find consolation in fighting TouchArcadians.

For some reason, I missed these posts:

The way you play a defensive Guile is on a whole different level. Playing those 3 matches with you made me realize some of my flaws and noticed that you and PV had some similar tendencies. I've found ways to counter it, but I wasn't able to execute most of them since it doesn't come in naturally yet. I hope you come back from retirement someday and crush me when we have friendlies. :D

If I had to compare Soul Calibur to a SF game, it would be Street Fighter III because of its parry system. Add in sidestepping and Focus Attacks to it and you basically have Soul Calibur.

It's definitely not worth the money given that there's only 3.5 gamemodes: Arcade, Time Attack, Survival, and Extra Survival (which is survival with a 1 hit kill for either character). There's not much leeway for the buttons, so you have to tap right on it for it to recognize that you're pushing it. It's really tough doing well on the iPhone because of the small screen and the need to use more than just your thumb. There's 4 buttons: A, B, K, and G. Some decent moves require that you push A+K, A+B, B+K, so forth. For that to be possible, you need to have at least 2 fingers on the right hand side of the screen; it just doesn't feel natural. They have an option to add in a custom button for a combination of 2 regular buttons eg. A+B, but you can only have 1. It would be better if they had given us the option to have more specialty buttons...

As far as gameplay goes, there are times when a whole match will be choppy, not by a lot, but you can tell it's not running at 100% speed. It probably has to do with the stage it loaded where it has a lot going on outside of the ring unlike SF4Volt's paper background...It's been a while since I've played any SC games (last real one I spent time on was SC2 back in '05). I don't really remember it well, but it feels like moves have a really long startup animation before actually doing anything. It could be that I've got too used to Street Fighter with its responsive controls.

You can unlock characters and stages by beating arcade mode with various stock characters, go for the 11 GC achievements, try to go for the lowest time on Time Attack or last the longest in Survival for the GC leaderboards. Once you unlock everything though, there isn't much replayability to it. This would be a different case if they had added in multiplayer. Even with MP though, I don't think I would be sticking around for long just because it is so different from what I'm used to now.

On the plus side, this port seems to have retained all the graphical aspects from the original version when it first came out on the arcade machines.

Personally, I would have liked Namco to port Tekken (3 and up) over Soul Calibur.

I had no idea why you said erectile dysfunction, but now I do after looking at the tags for the video. :p

I did feel better in round two. I caught him before he could succesfully run away and gave him a beating like I've never done before in Volt. I got a perfect in about ten seconds. It was beautiful.

Yea, I know about the MANY ways Viper can combo into ultra but I dont like to take the risk unless I really need to. And I just avoid it out of habit because the timing seems so different when playing online even if there is no visible lag.

It was fun playing against you too. Haven't played against you since that first time we played. ;)

    The low tier.
I just played a guy named ppents! - he has over 6k matches, 92% with ryu, 7.8% with Ken. And he was sooooooooo bad. Just uppercutted on every wakeup and mixup. Like, how do you have 6k+ matches and suck that bad.

My defensive Guile is different because I'm not all defensive. I try to balance the offense and defense. Against some players that's not possible (like good Cammys and Good Zangiefs), so I play defensive, but still try to play offensive if I have the chance. And it hurts when someone say that I have similar strategies than PV :p

I've been testing my network. Last night I couldn't sleep so I was playing on ranked. Lag trolled me in the most of the matches, I just have a couple of maches with a smooth connection. But it was good just because I missed the game. We will see if I can find the time when I have good connection, so that way I wil deal with normal lag instead of the Matrix connection in bullet time.

The worst connections are the ones where the connection is like 85% there. Everything looks normal, but your inputs are just a bit off, and you miss like every anti-air. Those are the matches where I play the worst.

A blanka whose anti air timing is off because of that sucks! You end up looking like a complete noob because you either jump straight up or jump right into their anti air, or you end standing there with no block.

Similar move sets that other Guiles don't use. There's two that stand out: 1) constant hop over with jump kicks -> double sweep and 2) double sweep -> flash kick. The first one is ok but the second strategy trumps all of bison's offensive moves.

Outside of that, both of you play very differently. :)

As a sparring partner, you have to understand that those similarities is a positive and it forced me to analyze how to handle those situations and I thank you for that.
