ok, I think the difference is I was doing it in a different iDevice, I restored everything from my old device to my new device. then all I have to do is delete cookies, Capcom site then asked me to create profile again. by that time, I have 2 profiles, a new one and a old one, they are both listed on the ranked page. if you are not getting the message then I assume it's because you are just re-install the app in the same device, which I think Capcom has a way to detected and keep link you back to your old profile.
I think they had to be airborne to do it pre update, now its pretty easy to do it if theyre on the ground. Vegas ultra is actually really good.
It was actually on ranked...free BP for me No rematch though. After that, I got to play -40 All in all, I lost about a 100BP this morning due to rage quitters. As I said in the past though, BP is easy to get...don't let it ruin your fun. Don't let it dictate how you play and don't stress over it. I see what maintaining BP has done to some of the top players and its sad that they take so much pride in it
I'd have no problem with that if they just would take notice that my record and stats are completely different and adjust them on BN. So has anyone created a new GC account to get around this glitch?
Jibba this may be a basic question but did you close the battle network out in your browser before deleting your cookies, because the same thing happened to me originally and I forgot to close it out of my safari browser the first time. The next time I deleted my cookies, history etc signed out of GC rebooted my device logged in to GC and started up Volt and it worked.
I saved that last match, I'll post it here in a bit - I was going for kara-tiger uppercut, f+k, ultra, but you jumped toward me, the kara-tiger uppercut auto-corrected, and traded - I had a chance to combo into ultra but my thumb hit up instead, and I just neutral jumped! I then spite ultra'ed after time up. GGs.
Ooh I see it now. I had the replay saved too. I didn't even remember you jump kicking. The match was supposed to be over earlier if your first tiger uppercut -> f+k had connected.
If it's the same guy I played his name is dokdoiskorealand. When I played him, and beat him, he had about 3400 BP. I think I posted a replay here asking if he was legit or if I was that good
The first time I had forgotten to close out of BN, but I did it again with BN closed. I didn't think to actually log out of GC though. Instead I had just closed it. I'm trying it again now with the works. I deleted the app, cleared my cookies, logged out of GC and am downloading a clean copy through my wifi rather than through my computer. Oh, and I emailed Capcom. Don't know how much of a difference any of that will make, but I have my fingers crossed. Now I don't know whether to play a game first when I open it up or go straight to BN. Ahhhhh decisions, decisions . . . Thanks a lot for helping out with ideas though. I'll be really bummed if I permanently don't have access to BN anymore. It's not a huge deal in the grand scheme, but it helps keep the game interesting and the team tournaments really are a lot of fun.
Haha. I wish. I have an iPhone 4 and work definitely won't pay for another one anytime soon. I figure this one will start to break conveniently when the iPhone 5 comes out.
Ugh. No luck. Right back to my old stats. I did win my first match though after forgetting to turn SP assist on. I beat an Akuma which made it even better. Looks like a new GC account is the only way to go, assuming it lets me do that. When I opened the app without having logged into GC, it did ask me if I wanted to create a new account, so I guess I could use a different email address and hope it doesn't recognize that I've already got a GC linked up with my phone. I guess the biggest problem would be re-adding everyone here, since I now have like 30 friends from TA. I'd also lose any credit for the remotely decent replays I've got out there, but the converse is that I'd lose responsibility for the bad ones that people have posted.
I was noticing that older replays (i.e. around dec 26th/27th) no longer seem to be searchable. I wonder if that's due to some limit on retention, or because of the tournament.
Hi captain, nice to meet u Not sure what happened, I played a lot of rank games but my bp and tp not updated...
Haha back atcha! I don't know what's up with the updating but sometimes it takes awhile. You also have to be participating in whatever Tournament I think in order for hem to be counted.
I just got frustrated and deleted for a fresh start. I recall people doing it when the new version came out and had kept putting it off. I'm not sure why I assumed I'd be one of the ones to get my BN account up and running after a re-install, but oh well. It will probably lead to me playing a lot less which would be both good and bad at the same time. I'm sure I'll stick with it for some time though to see if new update changes anything or if it ever catches up on its own.
Don't loose hope yet. If you followed the delete history/cookies thing, just give it time. Mine got updated after two to four days later.
