Really good matches we had, going back and forth. Reminded me of how bad that matchup is for Viper. (Sorry for the late response, it was kinda late when we played and I didn't check this thread.) Did this possibly happen in a galaxy far, far away?
Youre at a big frame advantage if you hit them around the knees or lower, about even from the waist down, above the waist and theyll have time to spd. This all changes if youre doing meaty divekicks though.
Thanks for the info. One thing i'm noticing is that I'm doing much better against Giefs post update. I think nerfing SPD and ultra damage did the trick. Is there anything else that got messed up for Gief?
And tell me they didnt have fighting games in mind when they chose that button configuration. I guess we'll see after someone reports that they wrecked their stick from some hardcore playing..
I think you're right. My trophy icon is red too. It's weird because on my Tournament Info page (both on Safari and in the app), it says "Entered" below the description of the Replay Rally. Oh well. I guess we'll wait for the next tourney and hope that Capcom continues to work out the kinks.
His ultra damage is the same, they just nerfed the damage on his command grabs (ex and regular) by 20 iirc.
Man...people are rage quitting like crazy. New trend...if you completely beat the crap out of them, they tend to RQ even though some have only a 50% win ratio

I have had a ton of them tonight. One was particularly awesome. He quit during the final blow and it kind of pissed me off, so I sent him a friendly swear laden invite calling him a bitch. He responded by calling me a cheat. We go back and forth and he eventually says that I quit on him urgh I had fun making fun of him, though. He looks like a total Jersey Shore worthy meathead. His name was even Bronx God.

Hehe. I played him earlier today. Beat his Sagat and he wanted a rematch. He Quit on the second. Met him a third time later and he quit on startup screen. Funny.
They're not so tough for me anymore. Yun's matchup against Sagat doesn't feel half as bad as it used to, and I can handle them pretty well with Ryu. Most people don't expect an EX Fireball happy Ryu.
