TA AC is now ranked in the tourney with 1 EP. I downloaded an Apprunner match against Ken Ken about an hour ago. If that's the download that got TA AC the EP, then it also confirms that you do not get a point for downloading a team member's replay (since TA is still not ranked).
I will upload some more tonight. I have one with Squall and Vaceotyn....really tough matches. The Vaceotyn one was the last match in a set of 10 and it came down to the end. His Viper is insane To any TA members, feel free to upload any one of my matches if you play me... i don't care if I lose in it (I've lost PLENTY recently)
I really like this replay download thing. I've been having trouble against Vega spammers for a while. I downloaded a match with a really good Akuma (who I main) vs Vega and figured out how to effectively take care of them. That was a big help.
I uploaded 3 really good replays (IMO) against Vaceotyn last week. His Viper is really exciting to play against and I was pumped to pull out 1 of the 3. I believe they all went 3 rounds which was very encouraging for my Dhalsim. BTW, TA AC is now moving up the ranks with 3 EPs. So far I have not seen TA make it into the ranks.
7 out 11 members of our team have over 2000bp. 4 of them (if I'm not mistaken) have 3000+. I see good things in our future How do we upload replays? For my own pleasure, I just saved one of me giving it to a Gief who had previously kicked my ass.
nice set FINIX! I still have no idea what to do against Vega, with any character. I don't even know which of his moves are punishable. Everything that looks unsafe, isn't.
I apologize for my teammates but I have two accounts set up. KaChigga and Apprunner. Both seem to contribute between 10-20 TP per day but if you want me to vacate one, let me know and I will do so. Both are accounts hover around 3200-3500 BP though.
Good games DROQQA 20 match run for my first time. It's a pity that it has got a little laggy in the later ones, but I enjoyed playing against you much ! The last match...i leanrned if you miss a few combos with Yun against Gief, THAT IS IT. lol
i gotta admit, i got pretty pumped up after the previous match against your ryu, when i green handed your fireball and ultra'ed FTW made me feel better after losing 9/10 w/ sakura
This actually makes me quite nervous about the future of Volt. This is nothing against you, but the idea of some players in an iOS game having the advantage of a joystick is scary.
Come on guys, someone download a team TA replay. We're still not even on the ranks yet with a single replay download. I've downloaded 2 TA AC replays and they're already in the top 15 with 6.
Yes, his moves can be safe almost all time if you use him with care. Far sliding, lite rolling flash, heel kick and EX sky high claw are basically safe. Also FBA can be safe when landing on far place after being blocked (for some characters like fei long, it is punishable though). His uppercut has very fast recovery time, and he also has those back slashes to dodge any attacks. But! If you read those back flashes well, they are deadly punishable. If you dash away while my FBA, you probably get more chance to punish it as well. I still think Vaga is a very safe character in general (unless you spam FBA) however he is not very strong against rush-down type strategy players hmm. Why did I bother writing this. Damn! lol
I definitely understand your position on this. To me, just playing some online fights, it takes A LOT of getting used to, as this is not SSIVAE at all lol. I got the controls the way I like, plus now I dont need SP Move Assist anymore, so I dont use it. A Couple things I still forget tho, as P+K is not focus, and I get confused, and qcfx2 and S I get confused with P, and sometimes a super will come out when I meant an Ultra. However my Combos have VASTLY improved with Ryu thanks to the stick, as oppsed to the V-Pad. I will tell you this, It is definitely an advantage to having stick with or without the SP Move on
