So So GGs Pooter (GC ID: Too Fat To Run)

The lag was killing me, otherwise I would have stuck around for the TA usual 5 sets.

I wasn't too happy about it either. As a charge char it really screws me up. We blankas can't even mash (like most input chars can), because then we get ex lightning - we lose a bar AND stay still for a few seconds like idiots.

Screws up the timing on my lightkick + roll combos (my bnb) and makes life miserable for blanka.

The games weren't fun for me:( several times I missed a high roll and there were several times I didn't punish your whiffs and let's not forget that I couldn't even pull off blankas staple combo!

Like I said in my friend request, I'm really struggling right now. A lot of players are starting to play super lame which is very hard for me to fight against (if you remember one of the times I beat you I was playing super lame too).

I hate playing super lame and I hate playing against people that play that way too!

On a side note, I was playing a lame viper and they were beating me, out of frustration I played the lamest match ever and won!

Don't short change yourself, you didn't get lucky;)

But I will say I'm not playing very well though:(

After you left I played a lesser cammy and I still struggled. I went to the training room and I learned some things about her cannon drill, now I just have to practice and see if I can counter it in a real game.

I noticed you dropped that bnb combo too! I didn't record any of the matches... It would be funny to watch them again... playing like noobs lol

I guess we can't criticize our gameplay since we played in such terrible lag...

PS: -40C(F) is my Blanka sparring partner, and I think I know this match up pretty well :)
    Until next time!

On a side note: I was matched up against slickmacky tonight and he quit once he saw me. Its a shame that BP is going to peoples heads.

I've taken slrc's advice and now I just play to have fun, F BP. Although I'm not having fun at the moment:(

Blanka v blanka is all about who can be the most defensive...but yeah, that match was not fun for me. I still wanted to do a GG though, instead of getting mad at you - I mean, it's how Blanka is SUPPOSED to be played, after all.

Still, it's frustrating when I feel like I try to bait your up-ball 4 or so times in various different ways, including some risky empty jumps, then randomly go for a real attack and get hit. Felt like you were reading my mind or something. I was getting really frustrated. Having trouble with combos in this mirror is not unusual given blanka's strange hit box when crouching, but one of the moves I flubbed actually won me the final game - I was trying to do elec and it did a light punch instead. I saved/uploaded that one because the comeback you made at the end had me pretty bewildered and I was convinced I was about to lose.

Still though, playing against a blanka even lamer than I is far more frustrating than even playing against kenken in lag. :p

I think I saved some to study. I haven't played a good Dhalsim in a while (pretty much since the update), so I wanted to do some labbing with a few rounds later on.

Yeah, fireball into focus is really tough for blanka. Since we lack coward crouch, there's no real way to hold a charge over the fireball for a focus breaker. I shifted into a more "come and get me style" after being taken out by enough of those damn focus attacks, and it seemed to work out reasonably well.

What strat does -40c use against you?

    whoa! turtle Blanka!

2nd round: inexperience player's mistake at the end... got baited out by Blanka's Backstep Roll. Then the Viper player got frustrated and played with muscle memory... He threw away the match lol

BTW: how did you get URL for your replay?

Sorry about missing your invitation Justgodude. I'll try to get some matches in with you tomorrow.

Is it me or did this game just get really laggy during online matches? It's really irritating to see a move coming and I can't react to it because of lag in the match.

I just fought a Sagat player and it felt like I playing the game in "Slideshow" mode. Then after I won, by magic somehow, he wanted to rematch me. Seems like an intentional lagger to me, but I could be wrong.

-40C(F) rushes me down in every round and gradually tones it down during the course of our usual 5 sets.

He just makes sure he stays in front of my Sim at all times. He also reads my air teleport well and punishes them with Vertical Rolls.

It used to be a 5:5 match between us but since after the update, he has been owning me 7-3. I find BP meaningless but I think our BP difference tells the story this time: Last time we played, he won 3-2 sets.

Note to myself again: Ken|Ken, you CAN'T always cross-up teleport against advance players!

Well, this guy got a "phone call" this afternoon I almost swept him in 2 rounds during lunch break.

No hate... I would pick up that call if I were almost losing to Dhalsim.

    Jesus still loves you sLiCk_MaCkY

For your own matches, go to the website to see your profile, find the replay you want and click the button that takes you to the download page, copy the URL in safari and paste.

If you get some time can you look at some replays I have with a 3000+ sim and tell me if this guy was any good or just a BP hoarder. I beat him pretty easily and he never rage quit so I'm confused about his BP level.

    was 'sim his main?

I'm sure my 3900bp-ranked Yun confused a lot of the 200bp-ranked players he lost to.

When I read you posts/frustrations I feel like I need to respond, "ditto" because a lot of times you post the exact same frustrations I have.

And when you beat my ex roll with a freaken finger slap I was sooo pissed! I think you perfected me one round and I just gave up:(

Playing lame is one thing but playing lame and feeling like the controls are super unresponsive really sucks!

Yeah but he only has a total of 175 matches. Maybe he played a BP hacker a bunch of times?

Haha I am crazy enough to watch all your Sim/Blanka replays before I hit the hay...
Whoa... a rush-down Dhalsim! This player's got some guts. Was he on Redbull when he played you?

He looks legit but he jumped and teleported in too much... perhaps he doesn't know the Blanka match-up? His style reminds me of Sim mirror match strategy...that's the only explanation to you :)

When I watch your replays of top players your strategy is way different than when you played me (it's been awhile). I remember your sim not being offensive or defensive but rather countering everything I did. The recent replays show you more on the defensive side and more of a poker.

Have you changed? What's your strategy for blanka now?
