"Focus attack to smash a sumo smash (or whatever it says)" But in your case, focus attack a focus attack haha The one round where you would of had me by focus attack, I did mine and was confused as to what happened for a moment lol its like the game glitches when you trade focus blows
He quits, denies losing to people and is just a bit of a douche in general. Thats a bit of an understatement but you get the idea
what an ass, I noticed something like that previously, so I made sure to take screenshots incase he was a douche about it lol Funny, he went out of his way to add me, probably thinking he was gonna show me some mad skills and then ended up losing. I will admit, I have never been hammered by a Guile the way he was, had to figure out some shenangigans to even get away lol
Thanks for the advice guys! I lost a couple matches today to Blanka Ultra crap. I need to do that too. Got about 75-80 friends, most of whom I never play. Indeed! Hey Volo, do you play Third Strike Online on PSN? My brother has it and I'll be home next week. Maybe we could play a bit. I would still put Ryu above Bison and Viper. I'd also put Makoto at the bottom cuz even though she didn't get any nerfs (that we know of anyway) she still doesn't have the tools to compete with most of the cast. I'd also put Ken above Blanka due to the nerfs Blanka got (Ken was better than him before I think). I'm not sure about Fei. He seems really good, doesn't seem to have tons of disadvantages that I can see, especially seeing as how he can really punish people hard for missing attacks. But maybe Volo or someone who plays him more could say something in that regard. Thanks man! I've found that FK counters a lot of crossup shenanigans, but I never thought to use it against his Ultra!

I'm not a master at these comparison lists or knowing the numbers that calculate behind the scenes... but I will say, I RARELY lose to a Ryu v my Bison. I have fought some really good Ryu's but none that make me want to pull my hair out, cry, then proceed by throwing my phone at the nearest wall haha
Ugh I was so pumped until I saw PSN, I play 3rd Strike on 360. You gotta get a console to go along with that HRAP of yours so we can play someday. As for Fei's placement I'd say it's about right, a lot of my good match ups are the product of them being some of my hardest match ups at first and I had to sit down and learn how to beat them (Guile, Akuma, Dhalsim). All the character above him I would say are fundamentally better characters minus Viper, Viper has always been very gimmicky and there are some really good Viper players but that doesn't mean she is a top tier character. That's just my opinion though not meant to be argumentative. I've also grown some respect for Cammy since I played Snooper and think she's earned a spot alittle higher on the food chain as well when played the way Snooper does.
I cant see how ryu would be above viper or bison. Viper completely destroys some characters, and has 3 bad matchups that arent even that bad. Her rushdown is so much better than imo anyone else, and her damage is nuts. Bisons pressure is really good too, but hes just really, really solid. Up close i cant see ryu posing as much threat as viper or bison, and they both have good fullscreen options too (bison can just whiff devils reverse for safe meter buliding and viper has her seismo). Ryus alot more vunerable on wakeup now, and he camt really keep pressure on because his only safe special puts him at frame disadvantage and puts distance between you and your opponent. Ryu is still really solid but he doesnt have the crazy damage or mixups that viper does or the corner pressure and escape options that bison does. Makoto has some pretty impossible matchups, but shes definitley scarier than all the other low tier characters. Nashberry, what do you think? Well I reckon feis good, like i said a page back i was wrong about putting him above balrog. He doesnt really destroy anyone like he does in ae though, and sagat, akuma, gief and dhalsim give him trouble (i reckon ryu beats him in this version too, even though its like 7-3 to fei in ae).Maybe between guile and zangief. And in regards to ken, Vaceotyn made a good point the other day in that there are a few really good blankas but not really any great kens. I actually reckon kens alright, but nobody has really done any amazing stuff with him, hes kind of shadowed by the other shotos. Ill put ken above blanka for now.

S Sagat Viper Bison Ryu Zangief Fei Long A Guile Akuma Balrog Cammy Ken B Blanka Dhalsim Abel Cody Chun Li C Yun Makoto Honda Dee Jay Vega Sakura I think Im a bit biased with cammy as some of her matchups are really tough, but she does ok against most of the cast. Her dp is pretty insane and meaty divekicks work against almost everyone so thats why i put her there.
And Eliminate Pro, which came out a long time ago, and is pretty much a waste of space now. Anyways, can't wait to break 10,000 posts...
For me, I had my fun with them. I enjoyed Eliminate Pro... but a couple weeks later, it was garbage to me. Same with Archetype, but with Archetype, it happened faster.
