I keep loosing now :/ can't believe I lost against random vega player in the mirror match...well, I must admit it is my fault being no good. It's a slump..

And for god sake please don't quit.. And lag... Lag is the biggest problem. Sagar player sent me request with "lag affect both of us so you can't really complain" Man. Seriously. It is deadly affecting on character(s) like Vega who needs to get the best timing of charging and releasing... Sigh

A lot of "one and done" players...beginning to aggravate me since it takes forever to find another match

I got matched up with one yesterday that had his signature as "one one game." I didn't notice it the first time, but I won that match and he left. I got matched up with him a second time and actually saw it that time. It annoyed me but I went through with the match and beat him in a close 3rd round. He left and I got matched up with him a short time later. That time I just left before the match because I find it annoying. He's the first one that I saw that actually has it as a rule. Most players will at least be happy to keep playing if they think they can win easily (gee, that sounds like a ton of fun).

Ok, if you were busy or something came up like you said in the middle of the game, you should have let Ken/Ken win without you Rquitting. If I was in the middle of a match and something needs my attention, I would just put my iPhone in my pocket and let the game progress, at least I have done that numurous times.

I had this as a non-written rule because most players used to rage quit on me if I won the 1st and the 2nd match.

With the new update I just forgot this rule, in order to make some TPs for my team. Besides my battery only last 30 minutes and I lose energy finding another players. If I can win easily I just play 2 matches and then quit.

I agree. I have lost many matches because my two or three year old come running up and want to play or hurt themselves and start to cry or a hundred other distracting reasons. That's life. I have a wife and kids and a job and sh*tloads more going. That's on me, not the guy I'm playing against in a ranked match. I understand that it may happen when I go into the game and I suck it up. Quitting is not acceptable. I know some of the younger crowd do it on very rare occasions, and I've done it back in my early SF4V days, but I feel a bit of pride being able to say I haven't done it in months. There are plenty of times where I feel I got screwed or the controls let me down or a whole list of reasons, but I'm sure the same goes for some of my wins. If an opponent's ultra came out a second earlier or some other move didn't let them down, maybe I wouldn't have picked up a win.

For me I decide on a case-by-case basis. If I find someone fun to play against, I'll keep playing against them, especially if I get the sense that they're not a rage quitter (which I've strangely started to develop). If they play lame or if they really suck, I'll move on. The other night I matched up against squall in ranked and was playing awful. But I needed a good beating to convince me to get back in training mode and re-train my Dhalsim, which I hadn't done since long before the update. I got beat in like 8-10 matches but by the end I was starting to see the game better and in the grand scheme of things, I think it helped. It also doesn't hurt that I know I'll eventually reset my account as most did after the update. I just want to get my training in before I bother starting fresh (plus, it will be hard giving up all those titles, icons, etc.

Well said bro! I strongly believe that this new update was a curse, it's supposed to be about sportsmanship and grace. People need to relax and realize its just a Damn game!!

It is a curse. The individual ranking is a curse. Most players complain about the changes on the characters and people get stressed easily (just check how rage quits have been posted lately).

Capcom's idea was good, but was bad implemented. Maybe because this is just a port of the game...

I wasn't banned, actually. My profile wasn't appearing properly, so they thought it was some random, non-TA member. Kicking seems to result in an un-intentional ban. I'll join your team, but with my BN being broken, it might not allow me to get you guys TP. :(

Agreed. Only good thing about it (for me) was the replay stuff and Yun's buffs.

I see, either way, I am glad you're joining our team.
I also have a question. My record is 10w 15L and 520 BP. My concern is that my TP is 0 for the team. Do I have to have a greater amount of win than losses to score a TP?

Edit: I see you have joined our team, welcome. If anyone from TA still looking for a team, come join us.

Indeed. Very good games! Your Bison is really good, took me a few rounds to figure out what to do against you.
