GG I lost 5-0 to a Gief! Hehehe, didn't know u can spam flying body press like that, it's difficult to block the other way, need some getting used to.

My Bison needs to be more patient, I knew I have a better chance to win if I am only more patient... End up keep jumping into your lariat.

Do mix up your game! Tofu Gief has more variety with ex SPD and stuff, more unpredictable that way!

I think BP only really matters with the individual rankings.
The Team system only looks at the number of wins you've had, while ignoring all your losses.

My strategy is to teleport behind him and prepare to block standing punch. From there on apply pressure since he is close to you. (throw/Standing K)

The main goal for this match up is to corner trap him.

Have a look for replays in the game -- go to your main menu, the STATS -> REPLAYS -> DOWNLOAD, and you can search by Makoto.

We also talked a bit a few pages back about Makoto tactics, so that might give you a few ideas as well.

has anybody else deleted there proflie recently and started fresh. I did this 6 days ago and my proflie on the battle webpage is not updating to my current profile. does anybody have any suggestions. it seems if you delete proflie and start fresh there is some kind of bug where its not updating on battle page. im thinking of deleting app from my phone and installing fresh again but I dont think that would help. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I noticed wediafon's profile was started all over as well and it doesnot look like his was updated yet either. Any suggestions? Should I just wait?

I wonder if anyone near the top (aside from the TA'ers) actually deserves to be there. Disconnecting before the match is a very common theme on Volt. Gotta protect those precious BPs. :D

    1. Do you mean jump punches then standing and/or down-forward punches? If so, you have to stand to block the first and crouch block the latter.

    2. You have to be more specific. Do you mean simply countering jump teleports? Not many Dhalsims use standing teleport because it's even slower than jump teleport.

They're kind of mind numbing. I uploaded one yesterday actually. It wasn't overly special but I realized I hadn't uploaded a single match yet and it ended in a buzzer beater.

Since I've reached my goal of 4k BPs, I am now focusing on farming TPs.
Which means I am playing everyone regardless of their BPs.

I have ran into some interesting players last night.

Players would rage-quit even though they would have lose 1 bp.

Players with less then 1000bp quitting after winning 1 match (100+bps). They would only be putting 1 bp on the line had they kept going.

A player rage-quit the 2nd match after winning the the first match (100+BPs)

I met a player that rage quit the first match. Matched up with him again and I could tell he was going for another rage quit so I let him win (100+bps). After that we had some more fun matches.

I only managed to matched up with lower tier players last night and it does seem like they enjoy to rage quit even though not a lot of bps was on the line for them. Actually, the majority of my matches last night were for 1-10 BPs.
Fortunately I'm not playing for BPs anymore. :)
