Yeah, since we don't have light roll we can't use it to gain space. If we just throw in random rolls we get can get punished bigtime, so I like to use them primarily as combo-finishers or anti-air / anti-fireball (and game-ending chip ). I've always found Dee Jay to be one of my harder MUs - simply because I was so bad at blocking mixups due to always charging. It was a great 3set though. Watch him demolish my Sagat.

I already entered the winter tournment, however how do I compete for points for my team? Is it the usual ranked matches or is there a specific process involved? I always switch to stay elusive and avoid repetition.

When they make something worse, the opposite of buffs. I think ryu lost damage on his super, cr mk and uppercut and his uppercut has less invincibility.
Zangief users I have a question for you. There has been a couple of times where I get thrown on wake up, how are you doing it? Usually its after a sweep, what's the throw called? I need to practice getting out of it when I have no meter.
Oh I see, I noticed they hindered Ryu on the AE version 2012 too. I'm hoping to transfer to a complete Bison, Balrog and Dhalsim fighter soon, they're more offensive in my opinion. My Ryu tended to be counter-active and relied heavily on opponents' mistakes or missed attacks. And I'm quite sadden Evil Ryu is a watered down version of Akuma in AE

I think I fought him once. Forgot. Don't think I liked playing him though. BTW I think certain characters need certain moves. Abel-Light Roll Down Sp? Maybe overhead too. Standing medium punch F-punch Yun-Standing medium Punch Back Punch? Dhalsim-Standing Medium Punch and the short slide kick. Vega-Any sort of standing poke other than kick. Sagat-Standing medium kick/Forward low kick. Back SP. Guile-Overhead punch (seperate) crouching medium Down punch Cammy-I remember Snooper' said something about this Cody-medium ruffian kick if safe on block. Df/f sp? No they made him way better in 2012, they nerfed his cr mk really badly in ae and they put it back to how it was, and his heavy dp is better too, not sure how but I remember reading about it somewhere. Think they buffed his fireballs aswell. Yea evil ryus pretty crap.

Then i noticed that his gc status and his tag were both radiohead references. Being a radiohead fan, I sent him another message saying 'youre a douchebag, but +respect for the radiohead references'. We had a conversation about our favourite radiohead songs over gc, and then he said if I wanted free bp that I should shoot him an email and he gave me his address. I said no, I didnt want to be banned from battle network like he was, seems like he found a way to get back on the leaderboards now anyway....
