I'm also finding his charges are taking longer than I'm used to. This is so uncool. Give me my mid-bottom tier characters back! The only way I'm winning matches is by surprising ppl.
From what I've seen, Yun is the least used character. WHY?! WHYYY?! He got some pretty sweet stuff though. Including next to no nerfs. Although he did get a Palm Strike one...
Thats right. But none of my battle record, icon, quotes etc. have shown up. Meanwhile I just fought someone called ChocolatDemon in ranked and he ragequit. Then got matched again, won again, ragequit. What fun he must be having with his perfect 1 win record!
Hes mid-low tier imo. Better than sakura, cody and a few others. The real surprise for me is viper. She is soooo good, imo top 5, but one of the least used. I dont get it. BTW i put shoryutofu as the sub leader for the moment, would you be cool with it if we just made it so the person with the most TP is the sub-leader? Then theres an insentive to put toucharacde at the top (or keep us at the top, were currently the No.1 team )

I find it a bit easier to get in with Sakura than Yun. Sakura has an average time against projectiles, while Yun works wonderfully against those without. Spam them palms! I think it's because Viper requires thought, (some) execution, and her playing style is a bit tough to get into.
There was a post earlier; seems she was generally buffed - ultra was slightly weaker but Hayate is safer and several moves did more damage.
GG Nashberry, very nice games. those makoto combos are sick, and you know very well how to punish dhalsim's teleport. I have no choice but to play distance and try to chip you to death. lol, it ended up with those long games, but really enjoyed it. next time, never know who is gonna win?
No shes buffed, what mestre7 said is right. Hayate, the divekick thing, down forward kick and maybe some others that im forgetting do more damage, hayate is safer, links seem easier. If you go to stats you can see the most commonly used characters.
It's not a divekick, although you can cancel your jump with it right after jumping. Can sort of serve as an overhead in that regard. It's an axe-kick. Called Tsurugi. And it's pretty cool.
Tsurgi, thats it. But its not an overhead. The only air special move that hits overhead is kens ex air tatsu, unless im forgetting something.
Its cool, but the incredibly short range makes it a little hard to get the hang of. (As in, Im still having trouble.) But thats fairly typical of Makoto.
Well so far I have to say that I'm not a fan of the update overall. They added two really cool features with Battle Arena and uploading replays but the gameplay seems to have suffered. Games are all slowed down for me and I find myself losing to low BP mashers and bleeding BPs. It seems like the BP system has been tweaked a little too. I'm hoping that it's just an overload of people playing because I really want to take advantage of the new features. Also. Has anyone checked the stun numbers? Any change? I've been stunned more tonight than I do in the last two weeks altogether. Or may I'm just getting hit more.
