    The low tier.
    Voloster,

Sagat's up close game is definitely awesome, and can inflict massive damage. It's just that almost all of Sagat's combos result in a knockdown, and Bison has so many options on wakeup. It's tough to sustain that pressure.

    The low tier.
Also, I don't think walk-up grab after a blocked tiger knee is an option against good opponents because Sagat's walk speed is so slow.

    @Shoryutofu
thanks for the nice games. now i see how good is your gief. i think i won only four rounds in 7 games. should be probably more defensive and use something useful at wakeup. so thanks for game invite.

sorry man for quit but believe me i'm a little confused with your Fei...your focus attack is good for viper's burning kick but i can use my heavypunch+burningkick when i'm in the air to beat your focus attack.....

Your Shoto's were good not close to how strong your Viper is, Shoto's to me are about mixing it up, use your meter if you have two bars go in for a shoryuken combo if its blocks fadc it and go for a grab or another combo. I noticed a few whiffed shoryukens and close quarters fire balls which allowed me to jump in and punish, I'm assuming you don't play them enough to master the spacing yet but thats a big deal as well.

I believe I lost to your viper more than I won even when I had a commanding life lead you would just land one combo and it would be over for me. Her ultra does SOOOOO MUCH DAMAGE! If Vaceotyn's C Vipes is better than yours I'm not so sure I ever want to play him.

i dunno about shoto's characters because i hate to used them when online but i very2 like them when they become my enemies.....
if you met Viper in ranked match or friendlies match dont forget to block up and down because viper is a crazy offensive character...i get one Viper when in ranked match and that viper more crazies than me

oh yeah i'm not smart to use fadc because i always late that is the time all my enemies can use their combo or ultra to me and i lose...lol

This is a big reason why I've been resisting the urge to go SP assist. That and I seem to spam specials at times. Having to actually do whatever motion is associated with them makes me consider their use more carefully.

Make no mistake, Sagat's top tier in this game. His only real drawback is that he's slow moving, but when you consider his excellent recovery and zoning ability, it almost doesn't matter. He can punish you hard from any distance really.

And there's no way the Bison/Sagat match is in Bison's favor, but it's much more manageable than it is with other characters. I have a much harder time with Sagat as Guile than I do with Bison. Bison's got good options against him but it's still more favorable to Sagat because he has more answers to what Bison can dish out than vice versa.

The only guaranteed crossup on wakeup is after a throw, and even then, spacing and timing has to perfect by stepping a little bit forward, waiting a split second then jumping for the crossup to happen since his jump has such a wide arc. Even when you have that move down, you need to take lag into account and that just throws off everything that's in your muscle memory.

If Sagat's doing his constant barrage, he'll have 2 bars complete and it will only build up about 2/3 for Bison... not really a good trade off right there.

It's not an infinite loop, but it works wonders when they mix in crouched tiger shots somewhere in there to get that perfect distance to keep doing what they want. The problem comes with constantly not knowing what will come next. You'll remain crouched and tiger knees that would have been 2 hits if you were standing up will become a 1 hit and unpunishable.

I heard that thing doesn't actually work very well. The directions get kind of messed up. It might be okay for certain games, but I imagine it would be a disaster for Street Fighter.

And good games tonight fffan! I finally got a few on the board, you can be damn sure I'll be treasuring the replay of that one Guile/Bison match for eternity lol! But that was a lot of fun, we gotta do that again. I don't usually stretch out and play a lot of other characters. :)

Thanks for the ass kicking Ken|Ken. There was some lag (really it seemed like dropped frames).

Hopefully your wins against me weren't that easy:eek:

or a sweep. yeah you have to time it and it can be tricky with the lag, but its so good because they cant uppercut you. if they try to then slide to punish them and repeat. plus if they block it you can tick into a throw after a cr lk or 2, which again resets the situation. its basically garuanteed chip damage because they cant escape between the knee press and the cr lk. AND you an cancel into super.

while i dont have as much bison experience as you im pretty confident the sagat matchup is in your favour. bison can punish full screen fireballs on reaction, meterless. nobody else can do that. yes he has the 50/50 mixup after his tiger knee but so do lots of characters, like abel after a step kick or basically anybody after a knockdown. 5-5 at the very worst imo

Sigh... I don't send out angry messages so how could this have happen? Could people just report me for no reasons? Is this punishment for breaking so many spirits with Russian iron grip?
