guess it depends on your definition of racism. I usually take racism to be stereotyping or generalizing based solely upon race in which case SFIV would be racist. But I know many people equate racism with an assumption of superiority of one race over others which is arguable at best in SFIV. In any case street fighter isn't really serious in any sense of the word and I enjoy the stereotypes because they seem so completely ridiculous and absurd
yeah, which means it's even more dodgy since that means there's not much difference between SF III (video) and II (that I played). Not that I expect much from a dodgy version anyway, maybe all they changed is the title logo Good point
I don't see how any of the stuff listed is funny. It may not be overly serious, but it isn't funny. Certainly SFIV is nowhere near the funniest game ever. It's a great game, but it's never made me feel like laughing. At all.
The stereotyping in the game is probably the funniest aspect. Anyway, I find Hadouken somewhat funny because... well, I'm not sure. I mean, it's like a fist-fighting karate kind of game, right? And then this guy yells some fake Japanese word and this blue ball of energy spurts out of his hands.
