Thanks to all inquiring minds, but it looks like Apple didn't much like the resemblance to the old System 7 OS. So we're looking on reworking the interface and gameplay to be absorbed into a different game. We are slightly saddened that things didn't work out with Steve, but we knew the risks while creating Steve that Apple might not view it as an homage, as we had.
Ah man, that is too bad. This looked really nice. I am sure you got a message from Apple that said something like this: "Cease and Disist all work on Steve IMMEDIATELY!, any further development may result in severe legal action!" Maybe you should try the old windows variant and rename the app to Bill. That would probably work as Apple doesn't care about anyone elses trademarks or intellectual property, atleast not until they get enough complaints or are threatened with a lawsuit.
