Well you can't really blame people I mean, there's been only one video and it wasnt even a gameplay video. Not much information of the actual gameplay itself either. I also doubt that it's coming out tomorrow because gameloft usually puts out another video on YouTube a couple weeks before, they would at least put out a release trailer or something. And as for the guy who posted on the previous page about the game being updated, this is gameloft we are talking about!! They don't ever update their games. NEVER. And I don't think they are just going to surprise us like that.
The update part I agree with. However. HOWEVER, a few weeks ago a cinematic trailer for the game was released. It has already been released to reviewers for a hands-on. There were a few seconds of gamelplay. Yup.
+1. People either have short memory or they just refuse to acknowledge that they do update their games.
I have never finished a gameloft game (except the first Gangstar)... The graphics are nice and all, the gameplay is pretty good i guess, but I dunno, something bout the singleplayer always bores me half way thru. I'm hoping this game will have great multiplayer :x
Some Gameloft game are boring in some levels but not all levels. e.g. Shadow Guardian is very boring at first half, but second half is quite unexpected. Gameloft hardcore game is suitable play at home but not outdoor. When you are outside the home, you will not like spend maybe more than half hour to pass one level in hardcore game. And most people prefer play causal game like Cut the Rope or Kosmo Spin that you can pass many levels on one trip of bus.
Only to add new features that new hardware for new generations support. No new content or anything is added, only stuff like gyroscope and retina display.
Seems fine to me. Many developers don't even bother updating their games to support the latest features. And this is a really good trade in terms of the required effort put in, and the benefits that people get from it. I'm not sure why people expect MMO-style updates when they're paying the price of a happy meal. Sure, we would all like unlimited content updates. While we're at it, let's ask for the sequels to be included in the original as a free update. Oh, and throw in a free trip to Europe+Asia while you're at it.
+1. Gameloft would get even more crap if they introduced IAP anyways. And what about MC:Sandstorm. That was updated. GTRacing: Motor Academy? Added new cars and fixed some complaints. I'm already getting a good deal buying one of their games you'd find on consoles for a legit 10x the price. I'm not complaining. Add in the gyro, retina, and multitasking, along with fixing control and graphical things people bitch about. Games $60 for 360 and PS3 don't even do that. We are so spoiled
Gameloft has a YouTube video trailer and has given info on the upcoming game. It was also mentioned in their podcast. And while typing this comment out I realized that I got trolled
What bothers me is in the IGN and gameloft podcast they call this game Starfront for the iPad instead of IOS. This could be iPad only and that will be a major bummer, I hope gameloft gives more info argggghhh.
