Man oh man gameloft got some nerve.. They ****ed with the wrong company! Blizzard is owned by Activision (or rather Koticks vision)... I sense a lawsuit comming up...
Either way the game will be good for the first month or two until the do bug updates then it'll get thrown to the side and not updated. It's the gameloft way. From a customer's stance, they should set aside developers per projects to preform updates like maps, weapons all the little DLCs that we want rather than dropping a game and moving to the next one. Gameloft is terrible when it comes to these facts. MC2 has been out for a minute now and still no updates? WTF?!? Come on even a map pack and updated weapons would be nice.
Thats why they got nerves... Not doing it once but twice! Lets Not fortet how moneycentric kotick is... Once hé wanted a bite of the XBLA cake because hé felt Modern Warfare earned MS money...
Listen. i wasn't serious about the Call of Duty thing. Just because they are both modern warfare type games doesn't mean it's cloning. So there can only be ONE game that can exist with modern combat gameplay? What if Gameloft made Modern Combat first? "ZOMG ACTIVISION IS COPYING GAMELOFT. SUESUESUESUE!!!" You can see this with Manacraft and Minecraft right now. You play someone that places and destroys blocks. "ZOMG MANACRAFT IS STEALING THE IDEA FROM MINECRAFT. SUESUESUESUESUE." Look at the Youtube video. Wow. Just wow. And Gameloft is doing this "cloning" WAAAAY more than twice.
Well anyways, is anyone else dying for a for another video or something?! Personally I can't wait for this.
Seems like the console folks think Activision bought out Blizzard, and the PC folks think Blizzard bought out Activision. And here I was thinking it was a merger all along.
Its funny... I mention how money centric Kotick is and people start to think I'm the bad guy... I'm not saying whos right and whos wrong, neither if Blizzard brought up Activision or the other way... I'm just saying Kotick is a money greedy bastard who wants money where he can get it... Lets not forget he is the guy who said that in 2-3 years he would sell the cutscenes of a game seperatly... Nobody will sue Gameloft. It would be too long, too drawn out, and too messy of an affair. Gameloft is big enough of a company that it's not worth fighting them over AppStore profits. Sure, Blizzard has good lawyers. But Gameloft also has good lawyers and won't let themselves get pushed around. It's not worth the legal hassle to fight them on this. Gameloft, win or lose, could easily put up a helluva fight and I'm sure Blizzard and/or Activision have better things to do.
Couldn't agree more. Anyways I rifled through some pages in this thread but havn't seen any game play vids or anything, are there any and if so, would someone post one for me please? I would be eternally greatful. Mega excited for this title.
