I know this is going to be a bit unlikely, but i do hope it has the following features:

    -friends list
    -private messaging
-map pinging (so coordinate attacks in 2v2)
-voice chat (that would be so SICK!)
    -unit upgrades
    -air transports and island maps

    and best of all:
    -map editor
-replay viewer (ala starcraft/warcraft 3...or just about any modern computer rts)

...well it doesn't hurt to wish it...

Those are definitely some great ideas. I think the two at the top of my wishlist would be in game chat (switch between ally and enemy chat available) and the ability to watch replays (ff, rewind, etc included). Map pinging is a close third. I'm doubtful it comes with any of these features though, but we can keep hoping. It already has tons of great things in it without any of these features.

    Excellent response and thought process.
    This explanation makes perfect sense.

You're on to him. It's really Steve Jobs congratulating himself on his launch plans.

Heres an idea - EA should start making their version of an RTS and release a hands on video and within 2 days it should be released :D oh just like NBA Jam (sarcastic) - evil stare at Gameloft

    Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease dont delay this anymore!!!

I'd be perfectly content with developers not telling us a release date until it has been submitted.

In my mind, even if a game looks great, being told it's been delayed makes me less excited for it, and more frustrated about the delay.

I don't understand what you mean by "laggy". You mean the game runs slower because you made an in-app purchase? That doesn't seem very likely. Once it's unlocked, what difference does it make how you bought it?

There is no difference. Sacred Odyssey proves that.

i know gameloft makes good games, but i don't know how they're game support (patches and updates and stuff) is, but i hope that if they don't include a map editor at the start, they add one eventually.

Honestly, you throw in a map editor with this game, and it will probably be the last app you'll ever need to buy.

Too bad it's only 4 players though. I'm sure the g4 touch could handle 6 players, maybe even 8.

Gameloft is not known for updating their games, especially with new content. And I doubt there will be a map editor in the game.

I've trolled these forums for about a year, yet never felt the need to register.
Like everyone else, I've been anxiously awaiting Starfront's release.
I was bent on the delays, but this final explanation sounded so valid to me,
that I had to post something.

P.S. If the original post came off as "lip service", I'd love a job Gameloft!
