It's a quality game but i'm at the point now where i'm no longer permitted to play Online as my quota is up and it requires me to purchase the Premium Version for $0.99.To remove the ads as well on this FREE version costs $0.99 as well.So looks like you are testing the Free version out first.Can still play offline tho but can no longer gain new balls I get the 2 people online all the time and most of the time when you have a contest,you is the only only one playing,having said that i have played quite a few contests against people. Though sometimes my flag is USA and sometimes French and i'm neither This game though is a lot of fun and i'm sure when released worldwide will go down well with competeive players here on T.A
No mate...I'm now getting a message pop up in the game saying i can no longer play online as i've used all my free online time up and i have to purchase the Premium Version to keep playing online against people.I'm guessing you haven't played it as much as me and gotten to that point and message yet then,but it does pop up eventually Message is: Buy Premium Version You have reached the maximum of FREE online contests,buy the premium version to be able to participate in online competitions and earn more balls. No thanks/buy
@Toad In The Hole: That's correct when you have played more than 30 online contests, you have to buy the premium version which gives you access to unlimited online contest. That's the main way we could be paid. We are going to release an update where you will get extra contest if you touch the ad as well.
Nice one and too right you need to be paid for a quality game like this So when released worldwide there will be Free and Premium versions or is it like just a FREE one with D.L.C/In App purchase?
Ok, I didn't play that much. Touching the ad for extra contests is a good idea. You could ad a tip somewhere in the main menu saying: press the ad when you quit the app to unlock x ammount of online contests.
@Toad. The premium is an in app purchase. It's already the way it works, you can purchase it today if you press buy and you will get unlimited contest.
Yeah i tried that today but my card is not valid for purchases in Canadian Store,only set 1 up to get Eliminate/Godfinger etc and of course StarDunk early before they were out in UK so i'm gonna have to wait till it's released worldwide to purchase the Premium version.
I like this... been playing since last night a fair bit. I guess I'm one of the few actual Canadians on here... nice to see something I can grab after seeing all those US-store-only promo codes all over the forums. I was a bit confused at first about what was going on with the online play (i.e. am I actually playing in a contest with someone or not?). I'm also still a little confused as to how powerups work... it seems to be a use-it-or-lose-it type of thing where you lose the powerup if you don't hit the shots... is this right? I love the gameplay though... only thing I've noticed is that sometimes I need to have the end of my shot-line outside the screen boundaries, but I can usually account for that. I also think it's a smart form of in-app purchase you guys have going... only thing I'd be wary of is comments in the app store... I've noticed lately that quite a number of games have 1-star ratings, and hateful comments for have surprise in-app purchases when the customer thought they had the full game for free. Not saying I agree with those folks, just saying I've noticed it quite a bit.
bballbeast76, the game is free for the beta testing only. We submitted an update to Apple, once approved the game will be released worldwide and will cost 99c.
