Resource manage around the universe collecting stuff to trade, raiding planets, fighting pirates, bombard/explore planets, manage crew moral, upgrading your ship, etc. Easily worth a buck and a game I consider to be essential for iOS gamers with a nice blend of relatively more casual (open world) and strategy (methodical ship management). FWIW Star Traders 4X Empires is a spin off. The game is great. Beyond everything he said, this is one of the devs that listened when I and others suggested a premium version of this game. There's nothing more to buy with the Elite version of this game. Also they kept that tradition with their other two games. You are free to try the free versions and either IAP unlock the rest of the game or buy the Elite version separately. undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,486 2 36 Houston, TX #4 undeadcow, Aug 11, 2014 Although optional the Elite edition does still have IAP for an achievement unlock (cheat) at $4.99 and a ship designer ($0.99) if you'd care to format your own ship from scratch beyond the plentiful ship formats already available. I go to -11, -11, deep space, but I find nothing there beyond random encounters. And I've no idea what particular palace to visit (the mission text speaks of both -11, -11, and of a palace). Any hints for a budding (if a little incompetent) star trader? I'm glad they did not include the achievement unlock, as that would have made achieving the achievements moot. The ship designer (the only extra content in the store, and the only thing sold except for the full achievement unlock, as the full content package/Elite Upgrade already is unlocked through the premium purchase, though it still shows up in the store), yeah, that could have been bundled with the premium price. But with a title this deep and passionately developed and updated, I don't begrudge them the extra dollar. bluewomble88 Well-Known Member Nov 8, 2009 786 4 18 #13 bluewomble88, Aug 18, 2014 I really, really want to get into this game but I just can't.
