Hello everyone, hope you're well Okay, i'm going on a climbing trip this weekend with 2 friends. We're staying in a tent... in the middle of nowhere! It literally is so secluded that the nearest road is about 2 miles away. So, me and one of my friends (we'll call him 'S') are planning on scaring the life out of our other friend ('E'). I plan on doing this by playing spooky noises from my iPhone (which will be on lowest brightness, half volume, in my sleeping bag) when we're slightly drunk (Please note we're experienced climbers and wouldn't climb/ belay or perform any dangerous activities while under the influence of alcohol). So, this is where I need your help. Can anybody recommend any spooky noises apps, cheap or free that sound quite legit? Thanks guys Ps. I'll post back in this thread about how it went.
Incidentally I've found out in the past that some very commonly played games have some of the scariest sounds. The flood from the halo universe is one example. I was playing the game one halloween and unbeknowst (sp) to me, the game's sounds were playing through the stereo in our open garage. The neighbors started coming over to see what was making those dreadful noises. What I'm getting at is, maybe there's a way of playing the sound files from games like doom ressurection. Just a thought.
