I was hoping this would be good but as soon as I saw it was made by Gameloft, you just know it'll be a generic boring shooter. I wish they would do something original but they obviously make tons of money making shitty ports. The sad thing is people seem to buy them and I don't get why. Most of them go off a 3D novelty, but why play NOVA over Half-Life, COD or Halo? There is no reason. For me I want to spend my time playing something unique to the Iphone, not a lackluster shooter where I can get a better experience on another platform.
Some sites are saying iphone version won't be released along with the console version but would follow shortly!
Your post is very confusing. It's a game called Splinter Cell. Did you expect it to be something like Tilt-to-Live? Of course it's a 3D stealth shooter. What else would it be?
Oh I don't know, maybe it's because these games are portable [sarcasm]I know, I know we should all expect these games to be just as good as console games and especially for the quality these prices are outrageous![/sarcasm] Seriously, though the Iphone is probably the best portable game system out there, especially with the games at the prices they are. Why do so many people expect these games to be console quality? It just makes no sense
I definitely agree, but hey, Gameloft's the best we got thus far for shooters(at least to my knowledge, counting out ID Software).
Who's ThePaintedCow? I don't know if they're a GL employee, but as for now, I'm not taking that comment too seriously. But the mobile version of Conviction is already out. This should be arriving VERY soon from the sounds of things.
I do not think today the release ........... that lack publicity by gameloft, just released the trailer that showed pocket gamer on your website.

Ah. Either way, I'm still going by the fact that the mobile version is out now, and thinking that it will be out this week.
I think the word "soon" means 3 more months of waiting. all delays occurred recently are the fault of IPAD.
Give me a link to Half-Life or Halo or a full COD game on the App Store and I will gladly throw away my 40-50 Gameloft games and play that instead. If I want to play Halo on the bus I need to drag my Xbox 360 and a TV on with me, not to mention a power supply for both. It's only just (and I mean ONLY JUST) easier to whip out my phone and play a graphically impressive shooter that cost me a cup of coffee and is quite a lot of fun.
