How many worlds and levels does it have? How many different types of enemies? How many bosses? How varied do the mechanics and level setups get?
Wow, everytime I look at this trailer I've so fascinated by the gameplay and the music that I never noticed that there's information shown throughout the game. - 7 unique worlds. I saw Water, Ice, Space, A Mario World green bushes and blue skies world. Maybe 7-8 bosses? - 65 levels, including special unlockable levels. So 9 worlds per world = 63, with one as the intro tutorial level and one as the last level? Hopefully there's a lot of enemies and setups. Were you guys (the devs) comfortable with the constant rotating of levels?
Update: We have created a Twitter account so everyone interested can stay up-to-date on any news. That is almost correct. There is one boss in each world, so 7 bosses. The one extra level is an additional special level in one of the worlds. The constantly spinning world has become like a second nature to us. You will hardly notice it, when you've played the game as much as we have. When we presented our first prototypes to other people, the game was quite confusing as the players didn't know which way was which, and it was difficult to figure out where you were supposed to go. Since then, we have changed the level design to be more linear and added an option to zoom out the camera, so you can get a better view of the level. The game is actually quite easy to pick up in it's current form. Some players have experienced slight dizzyness at the beginning, but after playing for a while, it has mostly gone away.
i think we may have found our version of mario for the idevices! this one looks mighty sweet and i cant wait for this one....
We have another update for you. The price will be $2.99. Now, let's just hope Apple will approve it quickly.
I came to post this and someone beat me to it. "Soosiz" is pretty random, it doesn't really roll of the tongue either cause it doesn't look or sound distinctive. I barely know how to pronounce it, and as hyped as I am about the game I'm glad the trailer made such an impression cause the name is a bit too bland to do that.
I will buy it right when it comes out I have a feeling it will be worth it. Will you be adding content and features in updates though?
What about the music, who did it, is the music in the trailer representative of what's ingame? What was the inspiration behind it? Does the game have a lot of music pieces like Rolando?
Thank you for your questions and comments. The music pieces in the game are created by Kevin MacLeod. They are not original to the game, but we chose them because they gave it the feeling we were looking for. There is plenty of diversity. The music in the trailer was chosen to give it a dramatic feeling. It is not a representation of the ingame music and was licensed from a different author. We will be creating some gameplay videos with real ingame audio so you can see and hear it for yourself before the release. Thank you for buying. We hope it will be worth it for you. We have some early thoughts about the updates, but it's too early to promise anything. The game has a lot of content already in the first release.
