For me, I would pay $1.99 immediately, but if it's going to be $2.99 then I'll have to think about it.
Thats exactly how i feel. 1.99, second its out, sale. 2.99, ehh, less likely to buy immediately. Looks like a great game though! Excited now.
Well... the game that convinced me $2.99 is a price worthy of a risky purchase is Spider. I was one of the first people on the forum to cave in and buy it and it turned out to be fantastic, but if it'd sucked then maybe I wouldn't take a risk on $2.99 games anymore.
Gomi was my first (and i think only) $2.99 game, but it is worth it. So i would be fine with this being $2.99... yea, i would be But $1.99 would be perfect!
depends on how many levels and how long the gameplay is. Gomi has 12+ hours of gameplay, and i bought that at $2.99, so that has set the standards pretty high for me.. This game looks really good though... sooo, depending on reviews and such, i might be willing to pay $5. touchgrind is my only $5 game
Heh xP It's a good game, couldn't help it. And its got similar gameplay to this game. Maybe you will add features to Gomi like this game has; maybe new planets with these features xP Back to this game I wonder when Touch Foo submitted the game, so as to estimate when this game might be released!
We submitted it yesterday (sunday), so it will probably still be a while until it's out. There has been a lot of speculation about which game Soosiz is based on, so we think you might find this interesting. We love Super Mario Galaxy, so it has certainly affected the design process. However, the basic gameplay in Soosiz is a bit different, and it originally comes from a minigame (with the same name) that one of us created for a game competition few years ago. Except for the controls and how the gravity works, there is not much the same between this game and the minigame, though. We don't mind the comparisons to Gomi either. It's a good game!
My friend and I played super mario galaxy a bit (he owns it, i dont :/) and it was pretty fun. I do see similarities between the two, and its awesome! I really enjoy games with awesome gravity twists. Gravity like yours and Gomi's adds the ability to create some really awesome and unique levels with really great strategies and features that are needed to succeed. I am excited for this, as I love platformers, and as mentioned, games with awesome gravity I'm guessing two weeks from yesterday, so... 10/4 is my guess. But, if its sooner, I wont complain xP
I'm not a huge fan of the cute art style, but this looks like it's going to be an excellent platformer. Kind of Little Big World meets Rolando. There was a Flash game I remember playing that was very similar to this several years back but I can't recall its name; it had the same sort of gravity-bending motif with floating platforms too.
Hehe, it wasn't a Flash game. Not a whole lot of people ever played it probably, because it was all in Finnish and very strange unless you know the rules of the competition.
No, as was said, theirs wasn't a flash game, this one was. The one I played had a simpler graphic design. Doesn't really matter though, it was a couple of years back at least.
