It's decent on its own, but it does have flaws. Also, having Sonic in a runner brings a bit of nostalgia. It wont stand up to the best runner titles like TR 2/Oz, Pitfall or Subway Surfers though, but it's still better than a lot of other runners out there.
Lies! Temple Run is boring as hell! And Pitfall is so ugly I wanted to sell my eyes to science. This last update really nerfed the difficulty though. Before today my record was something like 134,000 and now, with barely any effort whatsoever, I strolled into 585,000. I think it may even be a little slower...
Yeah, almost all endless runners with heavy inapps go free, but this one went free a little faster than I thought by about a week. One month seems to be the threshold nowadays. Anyway, look forward to trying this on hdmi tv even though its a portrait game, kinda wish you could play this game in landscape mode. Thanks for the notice guys.
in this case nope... if fraud yes..but sometime you can if it was a mistake purchase. glad to be patient and wait...frees nice but not an endless runner fan.
For free, it is a pretty good game. I think it's fun, has a good sense of speed, and this theme sonic kinda goes well with an endless runner. Just wish you had free motion instead of lanes, and also it was landscape mode, so it would play better on hdmi tv. Highly recommended! (For free)
I have no pity for those who spent money to buy an obvious freemium title then get mad over it going free. Next time don't support bad business models like this, all you're doing is telling game developers its ok to sadly double dipp you.
I think it's comparable to SS and TR2. I'll have to see how the 5th day daily bonus works out, but I'm not crazy about the red star currency's presence, at least in terms of how they are doled out. I'd also like to be able to turn the "hints" off; they waste time.
I am really enjoying this. It's making me nostalgic for my Dreamcast system though. Runs great on my iPad 4th gen, but is running very poorly on my 4th gen iPod touch. Great game for free.
Weird, I think this game is garbage. And I loved Sonic Adventure and Spnic Heroes and enjoyed Subway Surfers immensely. Maybe it's better on a bigger screen, I don't know... I just think the jumps and stuff blend in too much with the ground and the way the world twists and turns makes for a very poor design. Lock on the license and try it for free, but man I couldn't recommend this to anyone and I was one of the biggest Dreamcast and Sega fans around.
I have this on my iPod touch 4g. It lags sometimes but runs smoothly after all apps are closed and is restarted. Not a bad little runner; shame about shoving IAP ads in your face all the time.
