Looks like most of you are on iDevices, so it wouldn't make sense to have a comp on the computer... How's this sound: The game doesn't officially release until Dec 4th, but Apple has already approved it so we have promo codes. Normally we use these to send out to the press so they can play the game and have their reviews ready for the launch, but I figure most will be stuffing themselves with turkey right now. So, Jxsgamer I've got some good news for you... I'm going to PM you guys some codes so you can download and play RIGHT NOW on your iDevice. That's right, the true believers get the codes. Not some forum lurker, or journalist who has codes coming out the proverbial, but you guys. So, would the following please check their TA PMs: Echoen Jxsgamer JCho133 Funday Factory JoshCM cloudpuff oooooomonkey ROGER-NL colorsound Fastbridge This is the full live version of the game so Game Center and IAP are all functional. 2 stages in and I'm already really enjoying it lol I love the crash time event when time runs out There's this really light story to it all giving sense to what's going on. Definitely recommend getting this when it comes out!
Don't believe a word he says!!! He's probably just saying that because he got a free code!! (seriously: glad to hear you are enjoying it!) Here's a bit more on the backstory (from the iTunes game description): After years collecting artifacts from the most remote corners of the globe our daring explorer is finally heading home. His trusty airplane is loaded to the brim with priceless treasures destined for his museum. Taking a short-cut over the arctic turns out to be a bad decision when his plane starts to fall apart, scattering his possessions and forcing him to crash land on a mysterious snowy island. Armed only with his trusty snowboard he’ll need to explore the island to recover the missing items and broken parts of his plane. Will he be able to make the necessary repairs and escape? Along the way he’ll meet a cast of crazy characters, make some new friends, go on quests and maybe even find a wooly mammoth or two!
Haha I love your sense of humor, it's a nice change from the norm. And I'm also having a great time with this! I think it super cool how every mission affects the kind of "overworld" level selection area The Crash Time is also a really nice touch, and I can't wait to find those mammoths!
Did you notice you can double-tap on the map and the little dude will walk to that spot? If the game does well we are hoping to make the map a bigger part of the overall gameplay - use a shovel to dig for items (hidden tokens), maybe a fishing rod and other goodies (think Animal Crossing).
Whoa that's so cool! And I hope it does well! I think those additions would be pretty darn cool! I just downloaded diversion btw, pretty fun as well
Oh man, you guys got the free-to-play so right here. If you are a pro player, you can keep playing without having to pay to play continuously, even finishing the entire map. I found my first token pick up at level 17 but it's rightfully rare. That plan with the map sounds really good as a daily thing to keep the more casual players (or even everyone) playing. Is there any plan for an endless mode?
That's what we like to hear! As far as an endless mode, we only have this to say: (but don't get too excited, cause you'll have to wait for the first update before it's wired up)
