Noooooooooooooooo, may be reasonable but 59p games stay in top spots far longer than higher priced games, and being there generates more sales and money than ppl getting put off by high price... Just my opinion sorry not wanting to sound grumpy lol, will have to wait for the inevitable sale price in few weeks after release then lol (sarcastic comment for being ripped off by gameloft and ea by buying games on release only to have the prices dropped days later ) Rant over.... Still looks awesome though
Sod that, I'm buying it day one before apple withdraw it from sale and request certain changes be made edit: DOH! messed the quote up, mashead said "Just my opinion sorry not wanting to sound grumpy lol, will have to wait for the inevitable sale price in few weeks after release then lol"
Got to play a demo of this today at PAX East - it is QUITE fun and totally hilarious! I really really can't wait for this to hit the market! You all are going to love it totally.
Veiwing the video, the first sight reminds me that it's another ordinary truck game with similar game controlling of tiny wings especially when truck's flying. But the info says that it's tilt to control, just another different way. I'll buy it as soon as it release.
I think the rwlease date is planned for april 1st but i heard that there isn't the level editor on the iphone version... Is this true?
Can we download other peoples levels? not that it matters, im not going to buy it if i cant create levels because in my opinion thats more than half the fun oh well maybe they will implement it in the future
Hey guys, We're publishing on 4 platforms simultaneously. We're hitting PC, Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The level editor will be included on 3 out of 4 platforms and we plan on the ability to download , upload, share, rate, and play other people's levels on all devices. The level editor functionality is coming in PC/Mac on launch day while iPad will be coming only 2-3 weeks after launch, as we want to polish up the touch interface before launching. Sharing/downloading/rating will immensely increase the replay value of the game and we're hard at work on it right now! We know you'll love it.
Oh no it is not just another truck game! There are lots of different things you have to do as you travel along!
The Mac / PC versions are primarily to bring the enjoyment of Smuggle Truck beyond iOS devices, and should contain the same features as the iPad build (level editor, and all that), but of course make use of the keyboard instead of touch screen/accelerometer. iPhone will remain without the level editor, due to the small screen size, but we will be charging 1 dollar less for the iPhone version. We plan on being able to download and play online player-made / custom levels from *All* devices so stay tuned for that.
What happened to this game? Owlchemy said it would be out on the 11th and the front page said the 15th and the game still isn't out...
